Fibro fog is something I've been dealing with a lot lately. I used to think it was just the curse of getting older 😁

Geez...wouldn't that be so much easier?! 😉

One thing I noticed has helped to battle it has been to start writing it down. To do lists, priority lists and even to say lists.

When I remember or it pops in my head, I write it down. I try to keep paper and a pen handy for those moments. It helps keep me on track and remembering what I need to do or say. It's a win win ✌

What are some your tricks to help with fibro fog?

I often wondered what would have happened if I waited.

What if I allowed the pain to consume me? Told myself I couldn't do it? Waited till I got better?

This is what happened when I finally got out of my head and didn't allow my illness to take over.

It wasn't easy....
I broke down daily from exhaustion
Tears rolled down my face
I was fearful it would hurt
I never got better

But I showed up every day regardless
I got stronger
Improved my balance
Lost weight (bonus 😁)
Lessened my symptoms

If I allowed my illness to consume my life I wouldn't be able to do what I could today. And I'm grateful I learned how to push through so I could learn to love a fulfilled life even while being sick.

What if you could learn it too?! Would you join me?

As I laid in bed struggling to sleep last night, I remembered the current book I was reading, The 5 Second Rule.

The book is based on the premise if you count backwards from 5 to 1, and get up you'll be able to kick into action that thing you so dread doing.
I thought..what if it could work putting me to sleep. Insomnia is common with my illness and always is a pain to deal with.

So I laid there, said 5,4,3,2,1 and closed my eyes and I don't remember anything after that until my alarm went off at 5:30 this morning. AH-mazing!!!! I haven't slept like that in days.

Who knew this 5 Second Rule could help me with my insomnia. This could be the start of everything for me ❤

Chicken tinga tacos 🌮

Super yummy and easy!!! Less than 30 minutes to make and healthy too. Can't go wrong with either when you're pushed for time and need a good option.

What did you have for dinner tonight?! If you want the recipe for these tacos, comment below and I'll share with ya 😉

Do you DIY?! ✂️ I've been wanting a ring light forever for video and photos but couldn't find myself spending the money for one. So I thought how hard would it be to make one?! Made my own for less than $15 and works perfect!! Patting myself on the back for a job well done 🤣👍 Wanna know how I did it?! Comment below and I'll share ✌

Sunday's are planning days.....📅🖋
Already on planning meals for the week after Turkey day and I've decided to go back to Keto.

Living with a chronic illness, some foods are triggers. Even the healthy ones. There is nothing worse than eating something and immediately feel like 💩 and looking 8 months pregnant 🤰

My body responded well to Keto when I tried it. Felt great!! More energy, less inflammation, and no bloating and feeling sick all the time.

I'm done feeling awful, bad enough I can't control my illness so I'm going to control what I can.

Have you tried keto?! What are your thoughts?
