What happens when the dicks next door don't stfu
1. No, this is fine, I'll be able to sleep through this!
2. OK this is getting super annoying ( mostly because it's not in English so I can't pick who's side I'm on)
3. If I release a bunch of flesh eating bats will they be able to trace it back to me??

I think the most amazing thing about the heart is that it is works semi indepentantly from the nervous system. In other words the brain doesn't start the heart contractions. Pacemaker cells are able to generate their own electrical impulses by depolarizing themselves. This means that even a brain dead patient could continue to have a pulse assuming that oxygen is still availavle to be pumped through the body. In order to put it simply the membrane of the cells pump sodium ions out of the cell and potasium ions in until they reach their threshold in which then they are able to contract. The electrical impulses starts in the SA node which is in the right atrium and continues thoward the right ventricle. The contractions pause slightly before reaching the ventricles which allows time for the valves to close and avoid backflow. The electrical stimulous then goes into the left ventricle followed by the left atrium this completing the system. This system is only possible through the special cardiac muscle cells that act like neurons that allow electric signals to travel through them almost instantaniously. Without all of these factors the heart would not work and we could not maintain a steady BP. 🤓

You only see half of me, half of my life, half of my story. So don't try and judge the whole of me, with half the information. #havingahardtimethinkingofahashtag#ithinkthisismybestangle#longhashtagswag#halffaceselfie

Because anything worth having is worth working for. Strength is something I'm not willing to give up. I can't decide if I'm on a farm, construction site or in the safari?? 😂😂either way I'm getting it done! #ourbodiesaremeanttomove #somoveit #begreatfulforwhatyouhave #longhashtagswag
