Vasquez Rocks was a great place for a game of “where’s Roman?” See him? 🤷‍♀️Just hanging out with Dad enjoying the view.
Hoping that teaching him to love the outdoors and to always seek adventures will be on the top of his holiday wish list 👌

been digging through the archives, re-editing old work for the website, check it out if you're so inclined. realized how many good times were stuck on a drive collecting dust. that's an ok place, not everything needs to be shared, but something I did realize was that the world I've been sharing is pretty one dimensional. a lot of the best work- at least in my own opinion- is of people, or the simple moments in between. I found a lot of that while I was digging and realized that the slices I've been showing you guys is pretty highlight heavy and empty. seems like that should change, stop pretending like I need to follow a template, still focus on the stories behind each image but have more of them. this one here is my favourite river around town, I'd taken photos in the other direction but never really looked west, not until this morning in late summer. I was out for a run, brought the camera just in case, I remember the song I was listening to on the bridge actually- Even the Darkness Has Arms- it's a good one, the Barr Brothers.
