Hey y’all! For anyone who missed my insta story- last night I went to a Bariatric seminar to not only get support and a new care team, but to see what my options would be. I found my motivation once again, seeing all those people desperately wanting to change their lives and get a tool to aide in their weight loss and health journey really changed my perspective. I think I’ve gotten too comfortable, dealing with the ups and downs you wouldn’t think would occur after having weight loss surgery & being hard on myself... it’s a vicious cycle that can easily lead to depression and the binge/hate cycle. I have this tool those people are just starting out for and I’m going to use it like I did in the beginning 💪🏼 “This journey isn’t a battle but a war we will fight the rest of our lives” that statement made by the Bariatric surgeon last night really resonated with me and she’s right, keep fighting and keep giving it your all.. Thank you for those of you who have reached out in support of everything I’ve been so vulnerable in sharing-but this shit isn’t glamorous nor is it easy and that’s what this is all about! So today on transformation Tuesday- I dedicate it to the mental and emotional transformations that will absolutely occur in this process, and the ones I’m experiencing. #wlscommunity #wlsrevision #weightlossjourney #mystory #myjourney #truth #lifeafterwls #overeatersanonymous #mentalhealthawareness #lifeafterbariatric #bariatricsurgery #vsg #vsgcommunity #gastricbypass #transformationtuesday #sleevegastrectomy #bariatrics #nottheeasywayout #mindovermatter #wagewar #waroverobesity #fightobesity #health #takingcontrol #goals #goalgetter #recoveryforlife #icanwin #icansucceed #iamgoingtoreachgoal
