Popping some dry chickpeas on to soak. I usually cover them with water and leave overnight. I then rinse well (discarding the water they soaked in), and add new water to cook them in. A large pot of chickpeas takes about an hour to cook on the stove. I portion out the cooked chickpeas into containers and put most of them in the freezer ready for when needed! It's cheaper than buying canned, the soaking makes them easier to digest, and it means there's no unnecessary salt, so the bubbas can eat them too.

Busy days asks for quick meals! 😜I refuse to compromise quality of products I eat just because I have very little time to cook these days 🤔preparation is the key! I make things ahead! This yummy lentils salad was made from lentils I made two days ago, fresh veggies, herbs and feta cheese😍 it took me 5 minutes to put it all together and it made for wonderful, filling, yet #carbfree lunch! GRATIN BROCOLIS CAMEMBERT

Cette recette est particulièrement intéressante si on a envie de faire attention à sa ligne car, malgré les apparences, le camembert fait partie des fromages les moins caloriques (avec la feta et la mozzarella). Il est donc beaucoup plus sain dans un gratin que l'emmental râpé.

Faire cuire à l'eau 2 brocolis coupé en petits tronçons. Les égoutter lorsqu'ils seront fondants. À côté de cela, faire revenir à la poêle un oignon et une gousse d'ail. Mélanger dans un plat à gratin les brocolis avec l'oignon, l'ail et une bonne cuillère à soupe de crème fraiche. Enfin ajouter sur le dessus le camembert coupé en fine tranche. Mettre au four à 180°C jusqu'à ce que ça soit gratiné !
