Banded KB Swings (Voiceover 🗣)

Finding an explosive hip hinging movement can be difficult. But a banded kettle bell swing perfectly fits the mold that.

When you have a band around the kettle bell it throws the kettle bell back down faster when you're doing the swing. This causes you to use them more hip force thus causing you to be more explosive.💥

Here's your #SimpleThree tips:
1️⃣ Loop the band around the KB and cinch it tight (you can use 2 mini bands or 1 average band).
2️⃣ Step on the bands and grab the kettle bell.
3️⃣ Do 5-10 explosive repetitions, making sure to generate the power from your hips (focus on driving from the glutes) 🍑

New year training plan off to a brilliant start. I’m doing 5 weight training sessions a week, 2 yoga, 1 run, 1 boxing workout & a few walks in the fresh air. I’m tipping the scales at my heaviest ever 13 stone 5 pounds (just under 85kg) The plan is to pack on a few pounds of muscle before I increase the volume of running in a few months time. The aim all year round is the same - stay fit, strong, lean & flexible. A regular training routine is brilliant for the body - but it’s incredible what it does for your mind.
