Some people think 5am workouts are crazy, I used to be one of them! But now, it’s my favorite time of the day! It’s one of the only times all day it’s just about me! I find myself thinking with a clearer mind, walking around more happy, and more awake when I make the time to get up and get it done. What will you do today to put YOU first?

Omg I'm so overwhelmed with all the love you showed on my last post 😍🙏 you guys are the best I couldn't be more thankful for this community, it's strange that I don't know any of you personally but I literally couldn't wait to share these excited news "with my insta girlfriends" 😊😊💟 ⚫I saw this post today and I just thought: woooow 🙌 That's it!! It doesn't apply only for the wedding tough but life in general! Of course looking stunning and supwr lean in my white dress will be my biggest motivation to run that extra mile and do those extra 5 burpies (confidence kicking in now I know 😂 ) but the goal is to look the most beautiful ME! The healthiest and happiest that I can get. We can easily get mislead by all those catalogues pics of perfect girls with perfect skin and bodies. #warriorpose....less than a beginner...I feel not really well...I tried to do something like a workout but I can't move a finger...so I tried with a yoga flow but was almost the same... actually I didn't even know what I was doing... anyway I sorted out to move a bit for 20 minutes!🤣

Starting the day with a healthy breakfast (even when travelling) is one of my fav acts of self care and always sets me up for a good day. 🥑🍳 Only made better by the amazing quality of food in this beautiful place. 🙌🏼

I'm competitive in a kind-of fun way. Fun in that I can laugh at myself, not so fun in that I'll do almost anything to win. Recently during my workouts I've been paired with men much bigger/stronger/faster than me. Do I try to match or better their weights? Of course I do! My ego fires up and won't let me go until I'm crying trying to deadlift a small van 🤷🏽‍♀️. You guys enjoy this humbling snap and I'll try to remember that I'm just a horrifically messy (vegan) meatball eater next time my ego kicks in. Also, that lady giving me shade. I feel you girl.

Went to the gym for the first time in ages and mannn it felt good! Felt like I could carry the world for a generous 1,5 hours. The strength that my body has was finally released with this workout! I am considering starting the #BBG again, since I still have so much energy left! Right now I have to read some papers for tomorrow and a few chapters of a (boring) book but after that I feel like going outside and sport again 💪🏼
Oh and my BG's were quite fine, went from 11 to 13, corrected and then from 9 to 4. Ended with some dextro though.

In a 2011 study (which you can find in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition), scientists evaluated the association between unprocessed and processed red meat consumption and the incidence of Type II Diabetes. 37,083 men were followed between 1986-2006, 79,570 women between 1980-2008 and 87,504 women between 1991-2005. After taking into consideration age, Body Mass Index as well as other dietary and lifestyle risk factors, it was determined that red meat intake was positively associated with Type II Diabetes in every cohort (especially processed meats). Back to horizontal with this week's spread 🍃 I've been toying with the idea of doing a bullet journaling for beginners blog post for a while - would anyone be interested? Pop me a DM or leave a comment below 🤗
Back home in Singas after eating our way around Canggu & Seminyak 🐷 first meal back had to be BBQed salmon & a big old salad 🙌 this mix is baby leaves, cucumber, baby toms, orange capsicum, cumin roasted pumpkin, avo, feta and a little “granola” mix 🥒🍅🥑 I got the granola idea from an amazing salad we had at one of our fave cafes in Seminyak - Sisterfields, which had a little sweet but savory granola through it. So tonight I threw some pepitas, sunflower seeds & almonds on a baking tray, & mixed through a little coconut oil, a drizzle of honey & a pinch of salt - roasted it for about 10-15 mins. Definitely my new fave addition to a salad 👌 dressed with a mix of Dijon mustard, olive oil, S&P and lemon juice 👏
