So there's really no inspiration behind this meal except that I did @sweat week 9 legs (holy moly it was the toughest workout yet) and I just wanted a large pile of pasta when I was done 🤣🤣 so that's what I went with! It's a lot warmer this week than last and I'm loving it 🤗 I can only deal with the cold for so long, haha so I don't mind that last week's 60s are gone and we'll be about 80 all week ☀️That's Florida in December for ya! I hope you all had a great start to your weeks and enjoy the rest of your evenings!

#WeatherDinner is chicken, pasta, and veggies! The chicken is grilled with Italian seasoning and @traderjoes 21 Seasoning Salute. I roasted the veggies in the oven at 400F for about 30 minutes. And then we have my favorite part of the meal 😋😋 @eatbanza rigatoni with homemade basil pesto (basil, walnuts, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil). In the pasta I mixed in mushrooms and broccoli and put a few sun-dried tomatoes on top. I cannot wait to make this again!

saw the @bulletproof bars while grocery shopping @wholefoods and couldn't resist picking one up😍😍meant to grab the vanilla but accidentally ended up with the lemon cookie - one of the best mistakes i've ever made🙌🏻😭

It's been a long day.
I didn't have to work, but all of the crazy that's happened in the last few weeks seems to have caught up to me. I woke up exhausted and I have been exhausted all day. Managed to catch up on some laundry, some cleaning, pay some bills, and mail some letters to my husband. 💕 Took a small cat nap this afternoon to try to combat done of the exhaustion I'm feeling today and planning on running 2 miles on the #dreadmill later today for #runstreak day 220.

Have you tried my mint chip cashew cream bars yet!? {aka mint chocolate chip ice cream with a raw chocolate crust 🤤} featuring @vitalproteins vanilla coconut peptides cuz they’re my faaaav and have all the gut healing benefits 💯 I’ll post the recipe again for ya 😚

Chocolate crust: blend 1.5 c raw pecans with 1 c pitted dates (soak if hard) 2 T cacao powder & 2 T @philosophielove cacao magic
Cashew mint filling:
Blend
2.5 c soaked cashews
4 medjool dates
1 scoop @vitalproteins vanilla coconut peptides (if omitting May want to add extra sweetener; taste test)
1/2 c cashew milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 T coconut oil
1/2 T vanilla extract
1 T @sunpotion tocos (adds creaminess/vanilla flavor)
1/4 - 1/2 t pure mint extract
Blend then fold in cacao nibs

Add crust to a square brownie pan lined with parchment paper then pour filling on top. Freeze; devour 😛

This mint chip smoothie has been on repeat for months now but it’s just so good I can’t stop. It’s 3 huge handfuls of spinach, 1/2 cup of frozen peas, 1 Tbl of chlorella, 1 tsp of maca, 4-5 drop of peppermint extract, cinnamon, 1 Tbl of MCT oil, 1/2 avo, 1 scoop of collagen, 1/2 scoop of @ancientnutr chocolate bone broth protein, 1 Tbl of chia seeds, 1 Tbl of ground flax, a little less than 1 cup of water, then blend in cacao nibs the last couple seconds of blending for chocolate crunch, and topped with blackberries and roasted butternut squash seeds

Happy #TransformationTuesday 🎉🔙💗 I posted the pic on the 👈🏼 as a #nsv last October. I finally fit this top after buying it the year before when it was way too small. I felt damn good 💃🏼 I don’t wear it much but I tried it on in October this year 👉🏼 SWIPE 👉🏼 & the difference to me wearing it this morning is pretty cool 🤗 I love seeing changes in my clothes. Day to day I take my new body a little bit for granted because you get used to it you know? But mornings like this morning I am reminded that I am miles from where I once was #hellyes ❤️ .

This morning was leg day & OH MAN 😭☠️🤦🏻‍♀️ I struggled!! I struggled through everything! The lay down burpees, the squat jumps, the lateral lunges. Soooo much of this fitness game is mental. It’s not your body that tires & tells you it can’t. It’s your damn mind 🤯 & mine this morning was on struggle street. But thankfully I have trained my mind to just show up anyway! 🙌🏼💦😝 Have a happy day lovely people 😘🌸✌🏼

Right picture - 3 weeks after baby was born - 72kg.
Left image - today (9months after baby) weight 62kg.
I can't put my finger down to the weight lose. It's a mixture of following @kayla_itsines meals and workout whenever I get a free 30mins from baby, breastfeeding, and I think the last 2kg was due to sickness.
Last time I was 62kg was when I was 14.
So now? I replace that fat with muscle. Focus on tonning and strengthening my body.
It has been a very long time since I was happy with my body. I have always been hard on myself. But never judged others ! I loved seeing women comfortable with their body but I could never do that myself. I learnt to accept some parts of myself that might not change. But never got comfortable.
Hopefully in the new year that changes.
