▶️'Innuendo, back to tapes', part 1.
▪️'Innuendo, back to tapes' experience was an event for Queen fans to be able to go to Montreux's studio and listen previously unheard tracks of how this album was done.
The guys working on tracks, chatting and just letting the creativity take place.
Here is a testimony from a QueenZone user, 'Sunshine', who assisted:.
- 'We heard how the tracks were recorded live through these gigantic studio speakers. So incredible good quality and it is as if they perform right next to you. All kind of studio chatter. Very good mood from all members. It was very interesting to get a sight of the band true dynamic.
There was some tension about musical differences and Noel Harris, the assistant engineer, told he always went to get coffee until they cooled down again. Funny stories from him. He was in awe to hear Freddie singing his heart out right one meter next to him. And even if he was totally baffled by his performance, Freddie would say: 'Discard it, I’ll try again'. But Noel didn't discard anything. He kept everything.
Also, Brian and Roger were opposites in many ways and were quibbling quite a lot. Freddie was the meditator and glued everybody with his witty humor. Freddie was funny all the time. He was also never tired when on duty, he never complained and gave his all. John’s role is underestimated. He didn’t say a lot but if he did, everybody listened.
All members played their keyboards on their own songs. Innuendo’s keyboards are from Freddie'.
▶️Very interesting to read such details about the guys on the studio creating their last masterpiece. And Freddie giving his all and asking from himself even more, doesn't come as a surprise. Good day everyone!.

Happy Wednesday 🌸
Today , March 21st 1981 , #Queen played at Estádio do Morumbi,Sao Paulo, Brazil (2nd show) [part 1]
120,000 attended , a total of 251,000 over the 2 nights. All of Queen's albums were in top 10 position in South American album charts.Love Of My Life No.1 in singles chart where it stayed for over one year(👏❤👑)
This is the last show on this first leg of the South American tour .
The show, like most of the shows in South America,is broadcasted live on the radio. During Get Down Make Love, the DJ notes (in Portugese) that people in the audience have been throwing toilet paper at the band. After Freddie gives the audience an unpleased look,a cardboard box is thrown at Roger Taylor (😠)
Tonight the band drop Fat Bottomed Girls, but they do play the longer medley one last time. These would be the final performances of Mustapha & Death On Two Legs in full. While the medley would be dropped, the individual songs would still be played in one capacity or another. Killer Queen & I'm In Love With My Car would remain in the set through the rest of the year.Death On Two Legs would be heard a few times in 1982 as a piano introduction to Bohemian Rhapsody (or to Killer Queen, as in Sydney '85). Freddie would often be heard singing the a cappella intro to Mustapha on later tours (particularly the Works tour) as he had done in early 1979
Freddie's voice is in fantastic shape & his delivery of Rock It is probably his best ever. After he sings, "It gets down to my soul," he adds, "Yes it does," before continuing along(😍)
After the song, he does a one-off incorporation of its lyrics into a vocal exchange with the audience. The full version of Rock It would be retired after this show, but would be resurrected as the opener on the 1982 North American tour and three of the Japanese '82 shows, running seamlessly into the fast We Will Rock You .

Ecco cosa diceva: "I sleep with men, I sleep with women and I sleep with my cats….what has that to do with my music?".
