I’ve always been a functional fitness kind of person. Soccer, Swimming, PiYo, HIIT, Boxing, anything that allowed me to utilise the power of my own body and push it farther. • Started my second week of lifting and meal prepping strictly. • It’s been great, i feel great and in the first week I can already see a change in my progression photos. • I’m not huge into lifting yet and i can honestly say i miss being able to beat the crap out of a heavy bag when life got tough but this could be what i need to knock myself out of my plateau. 💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️🥦 •

OKAY SO... The Whole 30 Diet... Here goes...
1) Why did I️ start this diet in the first place??
Answer: honestly, because I’ve tried everything else. Macros are hard for me to keep up with while I’m traveling. Zone is weird for the same reasons and because if I️ want to snack outside of my bocks, dammit, I’m gonna snack! (Just a couple of examples). Also, lately I’ve been feeling super bloated and am having a hard time figuring out what exactly is causing it. Which helps to answer the next question...
2) Why not paleo? Or keto?
Answer: A big idea behind this is to see what effects me negatively and the best way to do that is to basically cleanse for 30 days and then start adding things (dairy, wheat, etc.) back into my diet.
3) What do I️ think so far?
Answer: first of all, it’s not as hard as you would think. Secondly, I️ haven’t been bloated since I️ started. I’ve had tons of energy and when I️ don’’s because I️ haven’t taken in enough fats. Hellloooo gauc&almomd butter!! Not together...bc that’s weird. Lastly, my hardest temptations are chocolate (duh) and cheese and if you want to be real specific, Perfect Bars. So that part sucks but the results have been worth it!
4) So if you can’t even eat FRUIT then what the hell are you eating??
Answer: the pics about are examples of my meals from the past week. The more simple, the better. Pick a meat, a veggie (or two) and something that will fill you up! (Which... like... what is that without rice or past or bread, right???) Potatoes and spinach are some of my favs. Whole Foods is my saving grace, along with chipotle.
DISCLAIMER: I’m not a dietitian or nutritionist nor can I️ promise to make it through these 30 days - though I️ 100% plan to BUT I’ve had some questions about my experience and just thought I’d share. Again, this is MY experience. Everyone is different. So what feels right —� In Chicago last week, pizza felt so right that I️ knew it couldn’t be wrong. (That only time I️ cheated but we are being honest here)

Have you ever had cheeseless pizza? Let me tell ya, it's not good. Ok so it doesn't taste awful but without cheese, it's not pizza! I ate one a few weeks back because I was missing pizza. Nope, not doing it again until I don't need to be dairy free anymore. What are your favorite toppings?? 🍕

On the 2nd day of me being vegan, I have cooked everything I had in the fridge and put it on the rice. Added some tofu which completed Vegan look 😁😀 I have got a massive craving for croissant. And frozen yoghurt. .
