Do you have a spelling list you are required to teach in your classroom but no resources to support? I am looking for any lower school teachers from Queensland interested in a personalised student spelling book for Term 2.

* 1 student activity workbook including 4 activities per week, for an entire term
* 1 teacher workbook including an answer key
* Up to 8 different spelling activities of your choice - tailored to meet your spelling list (see images for examples - more will be available)
* Up to 8 different phonics warm-ups of your choice - tailored to meet your needs (beginning sounds, simple spelling, syllables, digraphs, blends, locating sounds etc.)
* Your choice of using your own spelling list, or I can create one to meet your phonics focus (e.g. long a (ai, a-e, ay), oy (oi, oy). As a bonus, I will be adding a set of coloured word wall cards for each spelling list to display in your classroom each week. If you are interested, please message me via Facebook and we can have a chat :) Prices will vary depending on the work involved but will be around $40US

all the vitamin c 💛 • one of the biggest changes we’ve made in the last year is focusing on preventative care rather than treating the body after its broken down. Our daily routine consists of a few drops of lemon vitality oil in our water in the morning + supplements for bone, nerve, and digestive health + we oil up with thieves 🧡

What I'm currently reading:

1. A book for my Master's class on leadership.
2. A book I had the privilege of being on the launch team for and receiving and advanced reader copy. For those of you struggling with God's goodness in all seasons, you should totally buy it. I also highly recommend her first book Kisses From Katie. Read it with a box of tissues.
3. A book recommended by a friend. I'm a youth leader at a local church and we're preparing to discuss purity and a BFF recommended this book. Basically, I'm trying to get in front of any extremely awkward questions. 😂

What are you reading? For fun or professional development??

Happy Women's March Day, friends! This time last year I was marching with two of my best friends to celebrate my 25th birthday. Although I couldn't make it to march today, this @amazon package waiting for me at home made the day a little brighter. 🙌🏼👭 #womensmarch #womensrights #shepersisted

This activity from @teachinginroom6 was SO fun! The students were practicing adding details to their Narrative Writing and I just loved how they were able to write about the experience of chewing gum before, during, and after it happened! Thank you, Stephanie for livening up my writing lessons! #funteacher ;)

Spent a good couple hours in my classroom today reorganizing and completely changing how we do centers 😳 I started the year using Sterilite tubs (⬅️ swipe - didn’t have a good pic so there they are on Amazon) and I LOVE the Sterilite tubs don’t get me wrong completely worth the money, but they just weren’t efficient for student centers and I’d rather use them for teacher things. I had like 4-5 tubs for reading centers and 6-8 for math centers and students would just pick what they wanted to work on and take the tub off the shelf. All groups were working from the same tubs (which is okay for the beginning of the year, but now different groups need much different things) Well, by our 4th rotation the tubs and supplies were EVERYWHERE and things were getting mixed up and you know the rest 🤷🏻‍♀️ SO I invested in this Finnhomy rolling drawer cart on Amazon. It’s a little pricy in my opinion but I got it because I think it’ll work perfectly for what we need. Now, my word work centers are the 5 drawers on the right (all groups can pick from these) and math is the left. Each math group gets a color (so 2 drawers per group) and ‘math with someone’ is the last two purple drawers. This works super well for differentiating my math centers since each group is only pulling from their two drawers and I can better control what students are working on while still giving them choice. Also, I anticipate that cleanup will be MUCH quicker since centers are staying wayyy more organized 👍🏼💚💜🧡💙 excited to see what the first graders think 🤗
