After a massive cardio session it was time to refuel with wholesome yummy food. Chilli chicken chicken, baby potatoes and a lotta roast veggies 🍆🌽🍠
Always remember to fill your plate with 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein and 1/4 carbs 🙌🏻

SWIPE ACROSS🕺🏼Just some of the absolute amazing clients I have worked with and some still working with🤗 who have made incredible progress😍.
Some of you may have holidays booked for the summer, weddings coming up or just want to get leaner for summer🕺🏼.
TIP: DON'T leave it to the last couple of weeks before your holiday to start your diet and end up doing ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to get a bit leaner because you left it too late🙊.
Get ahead and give yourself time so you can enjoy it and learn how to incorporate it as a lifestyle change rather than a quick summer shred🙈❌.
Learn to incorporate your favourite foods and meals out while still making progress RATHER than 5days on📈 2days off📉 at the weekend, that will get you no where🙃.
What is your goal at the moment? And What are you struggling with at to get to that goal?.

As promised I will get another post up about nutrition and getting the most from MyfitnessPal this week but as it is #workoutwednesday here is a couple clips from my own training!
Really enjoying my training again at the minute, feeling each movement where I should and strength is on the rise 👌🏻 Currently training 5 days a week running an Upper/Lower/Push/Pull/Legs split
The above clips are from my Upper day. First movement incline Bench! Pb for me 80KG for 6 Reps and pleased with how I controlled it will look to drive this up again next rotation! Main thoughts here are staying stable, driving my back into the bench, staying within my active range and thinking about squeezing my chest on the way up as I drive my elbows in, really keeping the tension on the chest!
Second video is Lat Pulldown, using a Neutral Grip. This is a movement I see so many perform all wrong, swinging and pulling without ever really putting any tension on the intended muscle! Main tip is to really depress your scapula, pull your shoulder blades down towards your back pocket BEFORE you pull with your arms, again staying within my active range and really focusing on keeping the tension on my Lats!

Great read by @courtneykiing 👌😊I think there is good few ppl who can feel guilty on this.. in the past I was too.. I have no shredded look or visible abs now and I'm totally fine with it, happy, comfortable,strong... I'm exercising , I train hard but mostly I have a healthy relationship with food.. ..this is called "balance".. there's so much pressure in the fitness industry mainly on social media, that everyone is just chacing abs or certain look...let's love ourselves the way we are, we are all beautiful in our own way.. you don't need abs or shredded look to look cool or beautiful.. #healthfromwithin 💚

Body Dysmorphia - Body Image Issues - Eating Disorder - Obsessive ... whatever you call it, in all three of these photos I had this overwhelming body image issue. I would go the gym pinch where I thought I had fat (skin) always take pictures of my abs, I would wear these squeems & corsets to ‘suck myself in’ and make sure my stomach stayed as small as possible (that’s why I have marks on my stomach, I would legit never take these things off) get on the scale every morning and night, geez and let’s my mention if I started putting on healthy weight or my abs weren’t as “visible” aka gain 3-5 lbs I would panic and just start judging myself and not feel good about ME! I thought I was living a ‘healthy lifestyle’ but really I was depressed, has this body dysmorphia issue and was the farthest thing from healthy! Just because I was itty bitty does NOT mean I was healthy I want to make that clear. I’m not going to say I don’t still deal with being hard on myself and judging my body at times, but I also know that I’ve put my body through A LOT and right now in my life I might not be as shredded as I used to be and that’s okay! My goals have completely changed! All I strive to be is healthy and happy and feel good about myself! You’ve probably heard, “we are our own worst critics” but let’s not be, Let’s be our biggest fan! Whatever you might be dealing with emotionally, mentally and physically just know deep down and believe that you are more than what your body looks like. 💕😗.

Who am I?!?
Today is a snow storm/blizzard/winter shminter bunch of balony, but this is the smile of someone who pulled on her boots and coat and trekked to the gym and back because #summerbodiesaremadeinwinter goddammit!! I'm not sure if I love or hate this new side of me, but my butt and legs are shaking and I've a smile on my face, so I'm guessing I LOVE! .

Just over 12 months ago I trained legs with @felipedossantos1993 just when I was recovering from my illness and I was starting the gym again after 3 months not being able to train I remember I could only lift like 40kg that day on the leg press, seeing my weak skinny legs back on the video fried my head at the time I would of never thought I'd be able to leg press 400kg for sets as I did today! 1 year later and all them small 1% progressions has got me back on track #mayofitfam #irishfitfam #galwayfitfam #dublinfitfam #legday #fitness
