What’s happening everyone!! Just got to the gym. I don’t really like they way I am looking tonight. Holding too much water, that is going to change once I start to train. Tonight I am training arms,shoulders and abs. Is pretty much the same routine that I used every week. The only thing I change is the way that I train. How do you know you're getting enough out of your workout? That's where your heart rate comes in. And raising your heart rate isn't as hard as you might think. A personal trainer can make sure you reach that target heart rate! 💓

I haven’t posted for quite awhile. And honestly I haven’t been in the gym for a few days. Recently I hit a plateau in my training. I still tracked what I was eating, enjoyed a cheat meal and carried on with life.

What is a plateau? ➡️ A plateau is a sudden dramatic decrease in noticeable results of your normal workouts. It’s when your body no longer responds to either your fitness or diet routine. Pretty much your mind not connecting with your body and saying “fuck it.”

How do you break plateaus? Plateaus are very normal, they come & go and all it takes is some adjustments to your exercise or diet routine 👉🏼 reassess your calories, increase your exercise frequency or intensity, learn to control your stress, DRINK MORE WATER, get plenty of sleep, veggies for every meal and get plenty of sleep. Those are just a few ways.

HEEL ELEVATED GOBLET SQUATS - First day back after some time I just had to hit legs. If this isn’t in your leg day routine, I highly recommend you add this in. My heels are elevated which puts a large majority of the tension on the quads. Found this from @smith.julian & @diesel.josh. Give this a shot! 💪🏽🔥

#back day today. It’s a high carb day as well - perfect combination 💪 unfortunately today I ran into an issue that I guess I didn’t anticipate - I actually ran out of plates 🤦🏼‍♂️ Maybe @betitanfit can hook a brother up? 😎 Been eyeing those bumper plate sets as a great addition to the #homegym 🏋️‍♂️
