Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are!
Last night in the Blue Mountains was, well, absolutely gorgeous! It was the Tim to the Tam of a wonderful day spent with the modestly talented @connorrancan!
We arose at 3:30am, drove to Lincoln’s Rock for sunrise then looked after our stomachs before heading to poke our eyes at the Three Sisters, to then go climbing at Mt York. Once I finally finished the final route, we journeyed our persons down the @jenolancaves, to our pure joy, we we pointed in the direction of a ‘waterhole below the waterfall’, literally with a skip in our step, we once again, literally, stumbled as we came to the base of a waterfall, with crystal clear waters and a pleasant aqua colour to please the eye. The time came where Connor finally jumped in and we could then deflate our ‘floaties’ and hit the tarmac en route for sunset. Being up for 12 hours already and going off 4 hours sleep, to say we were sleepy was quite accurate. One of the perks of having your vehicle as your home, you have pillows on the handy, and with this comfort item at our fingertips, we were pleasure to be able to take them out on a little wander in the wilderness to what us known as Kanangra Walls, rich golden sandstone cliffs, where we lay our noggins to rest for a lengthy 45 minutes before our heated, green and decaying earth, rotated so much that the cliffs where going from looking ravishing, to being a sight which I will remember forever.
All well and good, our time at this haven was to come to an end, mainly due to the fact that our bellies were getting hangry and we wanted to get the 30km of driving over 478 speed humps our if the way as soon as time see possible. All in all we made it to the comfort of our beds (Connor inside and myself parked at Cronulla to wake to the sun rise in the morning) and live to tell the tail. One very jam packed day, however, one very, very good one.
PS: any driving instructors for a manual car, in the Cronulla area, that would like to donate their time to teach @connorrancan how to do a start on a slight incline at the traffic lights, I know he would greatly appreciate it.

Salada ✌🏼
