A shredded six pack may not be my goal right now but that doesn’t mean I’m not training my core! I’ll admit, i don’t work abs often. It’s just so boring but I’m trying to get better at it. Crazy to think that when i was younger all i did was abs! Now it’s the last thing i want to do. Personally, i only train abs about 2 times a week and i don’t dedicate an entire day to it. I only do 2-3 exercises and add it into one of my upper body days.
Here’s an example that actually left my abs SO SORE:
•Lying leg lifts (holding onto a kettlebell overhead)
•Cable sit ups with a twist
I did 4 sets of 10 each back to back with no rest until i was done!
How often do you train abs? Do you enjoy it? If you do, please teach me how to 🤦🏼‍♀️

✨2 year (ish) change✨Left - 2 years ago: undereating and mostly carbs or fast food, exercising about once a week, and if I did it was cardio. Today - eating 2000 well balanced calories a day, lifting weights and doing minimal cardio 5 days a week for the last year. Maybe you don’t see a change... but to me, I have made some huge strides 👏🏼

I love that I finally have shape to my body (🍑) I love that I have confidence when I step into the free weight section at the gym, 💪🏼 and I love knowing this lifestyle is making me a stronger, healthier, and better person everyday. I have a long ways to go before I get to where I want to be, but pictures like this remind me of how far I have come! Happy #transformationtuesday y’all! .

Taco Tuesday! 🌮 I may have went a little overboard on my macros with this burrito bowl (518 21/40/46), but it was so dang good I’m not even mad about it. Chicken fajitas, sheet pan style, with caulirice. A whole strawberry short cake just for me! 🍓🍰🍓
Made @theflexibledietinglifestyle Cookie nookie stuffed cake (no funfetti since I don't have sprinkles) and added some strawberries and a little extra creamy cool whip to #proteinfrosting for fat macros
Under 370 calories (36C/8F/40P)
My cakes sunk a little after I removed from the oven but it was surprisingly light but filling. Definitely a make again!

Daily food post- I tend to eat the same things often, so I’ll only do these when there’s at least a little variety.
-
Breakfast- high fiber tortillas, whole egg, egg whites, turkey bacon, potatoes (I use baked tater tots because I am a lazy cook), cheese. Coffee with creamer not pictured.

Lunch- seared tuna steak, jasmine rice, Asian veggies (frozen)
-
Dinner- high protein pasta, ground venison (any lean meat will do), salsa, cheese (taco pasta recipe from Pinterest), and green beans

Post-workout- cereal, protein shake

Snacks (not pictured)- banana with peanut butter, vanilla Greek yogurt with strawberries

I weigh my pastas, rice, cereal, proteins, and high fat foods like peanut butter on a food scale as much as possible.
