MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PUT ABS ON THE CHRISTMAS LIST THIS YEAR, or could just be the Half Natty Lighting!! ....not sure... REGARDLESS, I have seen HUGE improvements since August, and have literally never felt more comfortable in my own skin!! Despite being no where near my end goal, it's important to remember where you started from, NOT just where you want to go!!! As this will 100% fuck with you, when it comes to motivation!! Ironically, it has been since detaching myself from chasing purely Aesthetic alone, that they finally decide to come!!! Investing in the long game and prioritising true fitness and Athleticism, will give your body no choice, butt to adapt and transform.
Sure, if you wanna be an IFBB pro Bodybuilder this ain’t for you,
But for the majority seeking an Aesthetic physique.... with a gym, work, life balance,
You want to be focusing on the developing below, 👉 Power, 👉Strength,👉 Hypertrophy, 👉Speed, 👉Mobility, 👉Endurance, 👉Health
As an anecdote:
I got too a similar bf% a couple years ago.. However, what got me there... A piss poor, fluff and pump, non progressive “bro style” Training plam, 5-6 days of weight training with zero recovery, a max of 1600 cals a day, along with an hour of inclined walking on the treadmill (facepalm*) each day!! To no surprise, I felt like absolute crap, had zero performance in the gym, zero drive in the gym, looked stringy, lost the 1 gain that I had and developed a pretty ropey relationship with food!! Yep, not long before, I Fell off the wagon, destroyed my metabolism and gained all the weight that I had lost!

Not the one!
After doing things properly: I am now recomping on 3000 cals a day, doimg 4 days of structured, Power/Strength/Hypertrophy Training, and
60 mins of structured aerobic endurance training a week.

BE PATIENT AND DO THINGS RIGHT

How much water you lose during exercise depends on many factors. The conditions in which you’re running,🏃‍♀️ genetics and what shape you’re in. It’s not necessarily an indication of your fitness level. The amount of sweating you experience during exercise can vary greatly from others!💦 As you get into better shape, however, your body becomes more effective at handling the stress put on it. Typically the amount of water loss is decreased. 🙌

Squats may be my weakest lift by far (I benched more than this the day before😂) but at least I’ve got depth 🍑😏
Never enjoyed squatting tbh, which probably accounts for why it’s so poor - I’m not motivated to put in as much work as it needs. But with the introduction of now squatting 3 times a week with pause and tempo squats, I’m hoping it’ll get a desperately needed improvement - haven’t hit a PR in months 🙄
