Well this was different, first time In gear since that 1 time in January. Hit 222.5 because I forgot to load the other side of the bar to 225 lol. It felt good and I had no pain.
Nationals is my first meet as a true JR (over 18 y/o) and I hope to put up some moderately respectable numbers in raw and equipment!

As social media can be really good at highlighting only the good things, I’m gonna get real with you right now because that’s what I want my page to be about: real, raw, honest content.
Back in June, I was feeling very confident in the way my body was responding to the macros I had set for myself, the minimal cardio I was doing, and the constant self care. I had never ever in my life felt that sense of confidence and complete comfort in my skin. As time went on and the fun summer activities started to show up more and more, I let myself lose a little bit. I didn’t track my food every day, I didn’t work out some days, and I even indulged in pizza and chicken fingers a good amount of times! If I had done that just 6 months ago, I would have thought SO negatively of myself. I would have picked myself apart, isolated myself from social events, and tried to ‘change’ my body quickly by eating less and doing extra cardio. Now, there’s none of that🙌🏻 and holy cow it feels so freeing!! So in my efforts of being a great coach and mentor to current and future clients, I’m an open book about this constant journey of learning to love myself in every stage. You can enjoy your life and not feel like enjoying and letting lose will equal pain and disappointment. Love the life you live💞 Have confidence in yourself as a human, not just what your body looks like💞
