DID YA KNOW? - Strength training can burn just as much as, if not more, fat than cardio! Yes, cardio can shrink you down. But this shrinking includes not only fat but MUSCLE. Strength training yields a high EPOC (or Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption). To put it simply, this means that your metabolism is revving. If done correctly, your EPOC can stay elevated anywhere from 24-48 hours after your strength training session!

So, while cardio burns more calories DURING exercise than strength training does, the EPOC stops once you step off the treadmill. With strength training, You continue to burn calories for almost TWO DAYS after you’re done exercising! // 📸: @shape

Check out these amazing transformations from the first test group of the 80 day fitness and nutrition program I am doing right now! Aren’t they amazing?? You can see why I knew I had to jump on board! 💥🔥💪🏻 So many inches lost, strength and power gained and so much confidence built! All while getting to eat tons of food... AND CARBS! Yes, you get to eat carbs. 😍😍.

Right now I’m in an exclusive test group with over 4,000 men and women who committed to this program as well. There are 25-75 year olds, people who work full time, post partum mommies, people with physical disabilities, you name it... and everyone is going all in. It is amazing to be a part of and share on this journey with others who are bettering themselves and their health!

2 exercises that I like to do in between sets. I told ya I don't do any fancy stuff. Basiccccc 🤷🏻‍♀️ these exercises do work, you just have to do them. & be consistent. That's all.... there's nothing to it, but to do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
