Contrary to what you may think...laziness is not the biggest dream killer...Opportunity Quicksand is.
Opportunity Quicksand is what sucks peoples potential right out of them.
Here is how it works:
You have a goal of where you want to be.
You make a plan to get to that goal.
You start working hard on the plan to get to that goal.
At first you are crushing it!
Cruising right along.
Feeling good.
Following the plan you laid out.
Heading the right direction.
Then...all of the sudden...something happens:
Shit gets hard.
You get hit with a setback.
You get frustrated.
You grow impatient.
You get fed up.
So what do you do?: You start looking are around for other opportunities that makes might be better than the one you have.
Which sets off a chain reaction where your energy & focus are no longer on your original plan but instead are focused on finding an easier/better way to where you are trying to go....which makes you think your original plan isnt working when in reality its YOU that isnt working.
This ultimately ends with you in a far worse spot than where you were before where you find yourself in a place of starting over from scratch.
This is how most people live.
This is why most people struggle.
This is why they can never get anywhere.
They dont have the fortitude to power through & endure and instead constantly look for the easier/quicker way as soon as they get punched in the face one time.
Will you ever complete a marathon if the moment you get tired or sore at mile 10, 13 or 17 you quit and go back to the finish line? Of course not.
So learn to identify when you get to this place where the Opportunity Quicksand is about to suck you in and instead of focusing your energy on finding new opportunities focus it on your original plan and becoming great at that.
Trust your actions.
Trust your process.

Let's talk supplements!!! What do y'all take? I have a few that I absolutely have to include in my morning routine: multi-vitamin, fish oil, digestive enzymes, probiotics, vitamin b, & vitamin d...everything else is an add in (while I do use a fat burner & the @1stphorm T21 supplement. // By including a multi-vitamin I make sure that my body has the key vitamins that I may be lacking every single day. One. Day. At. A. Time.
Michelangelo didn't paint his masterpieces over night. You aren't going to get the body you've been training for over night. I'm not going to get my handstand perfected over night.
Those things take weeks, months, maybe even years to develop. And we'll spend our lifetime fine tuning and perfecting them.
But a little inversion practice every day gets me closer to that handstand. Every rep you complete is one step closer to getting you the built body you want. Every brush stroke you paint today, will get you closer to your masterpiece. You get the idea.
But the best part about it?? You are the one who creates it! You were the one who who puts in all the time and all the effort to accomplish those goals! You're the one who gets to say, I fuckin did it!!
Remember that the next time you think about skipping that workout or practice.
Hard work pays off over time, not over night. Great things take time. Be patient in the pursuit of whatever sets your soul on fire.❤️🔥✌🏼

We can run fast, we are stronger being closer to the center of gravity, we can hurdle over large objects, and most of all, we can improvise in life.

Power-racks weren’t just made for squatting and deadlifting. They were made to improvise with.

Get a tall person to do pull-ups/chin-ups on a Power-rack and tell me how it works for them. Good luck not banging your knees fully extending down.

Do you make excuses?

Write down all the reasons why you aren't actively working towards your goals.

Then REALLY look at them and figure out if they are valid or not. And if you can affect them or not.

I'm up at 4am every day. I don't have to be at work until 7. But I have to get up that early to pack everything I want into my morning.

Got to bed late and "just can't get up"?
MAKE yourself get up and I bet going to bed on time will become a bigger priority.

I could sleep in and do my training after work, but I know I won't go after work.

So I removed the problem, I started going before work.

Make your plan work for you or change that plan.
