The downsides of multitasking:
We live in a society which encourages productivity. The more you can get done simotaniously the better right? Wrong. Current research is proving just how unhealthy our dynamic abilities have become and how they actually work against productivity! When an individual isn't able to focus on one task, the brain gets overwhelmed and it actually takes longer to return to a productive state. Not to mention increased stress hormones and eventual brain meltdown! Making time to organize your time focusing on being present in one task at a time produces satisfaction, quality outcomes and far less stress. This should be applied to each part of your life. Business, children, personal time, cleaning etc. The Zen of true productivity is balance ✌️

It is so easy to let this mind of ours take control and lead us right into a downward spiral of self hate, negativity and comparison. But what’s the point? What good does that do for you or anyone around you? The simple answer is: none. .
Stop thinking you “should be” or you “should do”. Either do it or don’t. Be who you want to be. Be who you are. Accept, but never keep moving forward (and sometimes you will move back). ✨

I find myself telling my clients regularly, “the kale smoothie is less effective if you are pissed to be drinking it and you’re chugging it on the way to your stressful job that you hate”. Health involves taking care of yourself in a multitude of different ways, including loving yourself.

Look for all the light around your life, some days it’s harder to see it when things are rough but I promise you are blessed girl 😘

I can remember feeling lost, depressed and not worthy of anything good.....but now I can see it’s because I choice to focus my energy on everything tha I had maybe done wrong, what I was lacking and why I wasn’t in a better place at that point in my life.

Our thoughts can quickly consume us and completely alter our thoughts and actions, right?

Have you ever felt like you just can’t catch a break? But in the next breath you name all the things that have gone wrong rather than stopping, taking a breath and saying things are tough right now but thank you for x, y and z in my life.... I know it can be hard to see the good at times, but I promise the more we do it the easier it becomes.
We will start to see more of the good! Where our focus goes energy flows.

So maybe next time rather than seeing something as a hurtle or roadblock in your path, take a deep breath and thank the Universe for her detour to YOUR PATH ❤️ We can make a shift and reprogram our minds with practice. I thank goodness everyday that being a coach has pushed me to continue to grow and learn through personal development because I find it very unlikely that without this opportunity that I would have ever considered personal development and created the life we have!

You have the power, you just have to choose to see your value 🙌 ............................................................
