Little 4-step sequence I do on the floor after something really tiring like planche pushups or something. Helps with loosening up the hip area.

What I haven’t posted is the months of capsule work we did leading up to this drill. Linear deficiencies like flexion, extension, adduction, abduction have a hard time clearing up if fundamentally the joint doesn’t move well. So we’ve been addressing both external and internal rotation leading up to this point

Here we are working on the regressive tissue of the back leg; the hamstring/glute complex to the calf through the arch of the foot. We can develop better communication to these tissues by generating tension through a shortened position. @jbobby157 is going through a RAIL contraction and even switching to a passive range hold at the end to let his body learn better strength there

Teaching the younguns how to properly hinge last night. @erin.arella @emily.vitevitch ⠀ ⠀
Before a person performs any type of deadlift they should first learn to hinge properly at the hips. This consists of maintaining a flat back(neutral spine position), engaged core, and learning how to properly create tension through the glutes and hamstrings. One of the main issues why people develop lower back issues in the gym is due the lack of ability to properly load the hamstrings and glutes when picking something up, in turn shifting the stress to the back. ⠀ ⠀
It’s also sooo exciting and rewarding to be able to coach, influence, and develop someone as they take their first steps into the fitness and lifting world. 💪🏼🙌🏼

Leave it to your hips to tell you of your stress level. Mine were groaning this morning. But these movements posted by @lizette_pompa were the thing I needed to wake up and listen. I'm still working at releasing the tension and easing back into a place of calm amidst the stress. Choosing patience with myself in all the things that feel outside my control sometimes IS one of the few things within my control. 🙏

This is my body, in tight, thin, unforgiving fabric. No editing, no spanx, no corsets, no shame. And hey, I'm even wearing a bra that fits, instead of one several sizes too big to appear busty (guilty)
I have a squishy tummy, flat chest, thick limbs, beautiful cellulite, and a booty that twerks on its own. I feel pretty good about this body. It's true some day I may change some things about myself (probably more ink and a boob job 😜) but I like knowing that it's my choice. Every decision I make about my body is for MY satisfaction. I love to show off and have a good time online, but no matter what I do with my body, I do it because I love my body. I don't have any desire to please people who don't already adore me for who I am.
When I wear tight corsets, it's for me.
When I wear nothing, it's for me,
When I work out, it's for me.
When I have a lazy day... well you get the idea.
I appreciate all of you who like me for who I am, regardless of how I change or don't change. Thanks for all the love and support, and thanks for reading my rant. 🖤
