Would we appreciate sunshine if it were not for the rain? Are we perhaps reminded to cherish what, and who, we have, when we lose something? Is the existence of this tug-of-war perhaps the reason we learn to value the moments of joy & love ...and learn to stand strong in difficult moments ...trusting & hoping that the sunshine will yet again shine into that area of our lives.

The UltimateSurvivalTech Tube tarp is a great addition to any day pack. Light weight and better than sleeping in the rain. #GearMeOut #HikerChat #HikeBC #VancouverTrails #affiliate #ParkChat #affiliatelink #amazonassociate #ad

Throwback to a few less clouds and a lot more green...summers in #britishcolumbia 👌
I can’t believe how much snow we are getting here I’m on the island. (Not pictured). On the plus side it makes everything look to crisp and clean but the biggest problem is that there’s so many accidents that are caused by people lack of knowledge on how to drive in the snow. So to my fellow islanders be safe and drive carefully.

Posting this for the pretty •• I’m re-watching Friends while Saber half cuddles with me, and then runs off to chase his tail.
Unagi, people.
But oh, salmon skin roll.

It’s always been exhilarating to me to try different things! Experimenting with art mediums or doing things the opposite way that people say it should be done! I think it allows you to develop your own style, whether you work in a creative industry or not! I was watching a webinar this past week where the instructor was talking about the ‘blue ocean strategy’ - it’s where you swim out on your own, with only your ideas! It’s a place where no one else can touch you - because you are so unique🏔 Loving this photo from our trip through the Pass heading to Kalispell - I shot it from inside of the car as we drove!! That cloud roll reminded me that all of us can set out to do our own thing! So tell me, how brave are you to swim out into that blue ocean?? Have you? I’d love to hear about it! 🌊
