Vacation days can be hard when 👶 baby is not feeling well and we can’t go out and have fun.
Baking is always a hit though. So I let “Big Brother” get all in with the measuring, pouring, mixing, and even dropping cookies on the tray. We had a blast!
And this is 💯perfect for your dessert this weekend

My ‘You Can’t Tell it’s Healthy Cookie’ Recipe is posted in the highlights. Spray a small skillet and spread it in the bottom of the skillet and up the sides.
Preheat oven to 350
Brownie Recipe
1 cup black beans
1/4 cup sweetener
3/4 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup cocoa
1 t baking powder
Blend all ingredients together and pour it on top of the cookie mixture. Bake for 25-35 minutes- the brownie mixture will still be gooey and yummy!

Super simple yogurt bowl for breakfast earlier this week on the first of TWO snow days we had (in my 20+ years of living in the Houston area, I don’t recall us EVER getting snow more than once in a season 😱)... but wouldn’t you know the highs this weekend are in the 70s 🤷🏻‍♀️☀️

As much as I love the weekend, is it bad that I wish there were a few more days of school? 😬 after a normal weekend, and then a school holiday for MLK day, spending two additional days (for a total of 5 🖐) cooped up inside left us all a little on edge and irritated with each other 😏 We did more arts & crafts, and watched more episodes of Blaze and Paw Patrol than I can count, and I can now sing both themes song from memory, verbatim... but who am I kidding? I could do that already 🤷🏻‍♀️😂😬

Summer holidays be like.....the most perfect very hot summers day, lunch at our favourite organic restaurant, then beach at 3.30, still deliciously hot but not so hot you die!! Soak up some #vitamind and #vitaminsea come home and go for a beautiful evening walk while dinner is in the oven. Dinner with the babes and then to top it all off this!! Home made ice cream with some of the rescue strawberries and bananas I got and froze a few weeks ago. Blended with a little bit of milk kefir. Perfect!!! All that's left to do is go to bed with sandy hair and sandy feet, sleep the best kind of sleep that happens after the beach and then do it all over again!!! We say there’s no such thing as too much homemade sushi, especially on a Friday! We always have a variety of sashimi grade fish and even shellfish, we list them all on our board at the shops, or you can ask any fishmonger for their daily recommendations.
