Mmm, breakfast. After my frumpy day yesterday, I’m starting things off RIGHT and headed to the gym for some HIIT! Getting my butt back in gear, dang it! Ok so this is yummy and healthy of course- it’s two scoops of @alohamoment’s chocolate protein powder, some fresh blackberries and blueberries, almond milk, Bulgarian yogurt, ashwagandha and maca powders, flax and chia seeds, walnuts (supporting the luteal phase!), and hmm I think that’s it!

There’s no better way to start a new week than with a bowl of delicious chocolate coconut oatmeal topped with blueberries, dates and dried mango 🥥🍫😋 Somehow I’m really craving dried fruits at the moment - finally some „healthy“ cravings 😂 And I think I‘ll never get sick of my beloved oatmeal 🙈 Do you have a certain meal or food you never get sick of?

Yesterday, while it began snowing outside, I finished and uploaded a new blogpost about books about eating disorders - the second part of this series. Felt so productive after writing it 😅 So check it out if you want to know some good books about this topic! .
My day started with the message that my therapy appointment for today was canceled, which means I don’t have anything special to do today. But I feel inspired to do something like meditation or practicing mindfulness 🧘🏼‍♀️ Let’s see how it goes! Oh, and I already picked a new challenge for this week: homemade falafels! Really looking forward to this challenge 😁 But I first need to find a good recipe for them. Nothing more to say, except that I wish all of you an amazing week ♥️

Left- 2000 / Right -a few weeks ago I forget sometimes how far I have come. I am my own worst critic. It hasn’t always been an easy journey.. there were many hiccups, setbacks, tears, frustration.. you name it.. I have been there. It is a lifestyle, it is hard work, dedication, eating well and exercising. For me it was an aerobics class that I took in community college, the instructor educated us on eating better and working out.. that was in 2002. It wasn’t a magic pill, a detox tea, eating no carbs, or using a corset that paved the way to a leaner healthier version of me.
I have kept the weight off for 16 years. I have fluctuated in weight during those 16 years..about 5-20 pounds. Today was one of those days.. partly because it’s close to that time of the month and I am feeling bloated.. hormonal and felt so huge. I had to take a step back and look at how far I have come. For those on a weight loss journey.. on a path to a healthier lifestyle.. keep going. Don’t stop. Hey🦁🌟 Mein Tag war bis jetzt nicht so toll... Mein Bruder kam vom Urlaub zurück und es nervt so, wenn er sich in die Gespräche zwischen mir und meiner Mutter einmischt. Am Ende ist es dann eh immer so, dass ich mich von beiden nicht ernst genommen fühle und ins Zimmer abhaue weil sie mich mit diesem besserwisserischen höhnischem Grinsen sprachlos machen. Über was wir diskutiert haben will ich jetzt nicht genauer sagen, aber jetzt bin ich grad so sauer, dass ich wahrscheinlich morgen bei meinem Endokrinologie Termin nicht erscheinen werde. Ich hab kein Bock mehr auf irgendwelche Leute. Ich fühl mich wie ne Witzfigur behandelt und muss mich dann wohl nicht mehr im Krankenhaus blicken lassen. Die Chancen sind ja eh so gering, dass ich noch irgendwann aussehen werde wie ein ,,normaler" Mensch... Ich weiß ganz genau, dass ich es bereuen werde, nicht die Hormon Checks gemacht zu haben, weil ich seit Ewigkeiten auf die Entscheidung warte, aber in diesen Momenten wie jetzt, wo ich so einen Hass auf mich und meine Familie habe, mache ich alles, was mir weh tut oder mir schadet. Sorry... Meine Negativität ist grad echt schlimm. Hoffe ihr habt bis jetzt nen besseren Tag gehabt❤
