Off one plane onto another... we head to Vietnam 🇻🇳 in a few days and I cannot tell you how much gratitude i have for these little beauties.
I am so conscious about my health and wellness, and try my best to always make the best choices for optimum living.
People quite often dont think about the the effects flying has on your body... from things like jet lag to illness to radiation.

If you fly often, you need to ask yourself what precautions do you put in place to make sure you give your body and health the best chance. 🛫

I actually realised when I went to america last year that I no longer get jet lag since taking JP+! Its incredible. I was on and off 11 flights in 3 weeks and still felt great! ☺️

try this easy slow cooker recipe • 2.5-3lbs chuck roast + 2 sweet potatoes + 6 carrots + 2 cloves of garlic + balsamic vinegar + beef broth • sear the meat and dump everything into your slow cooker + cook on high for 4 hours • voila 💃🏻#gomezgarageeats #slowcooker

Why do I do an #hour long #workout? It’s not because I want to become a #fitness #model. 🏋️‍♀️💄It’s not because I want to punish myself. It’s not because I’m trying to be #skinny or #skinnier than the girl next to me. It’s because everyday I am conquering an #eatingdisorder that I got from listening to people tell me how I should look. Every day I am learning how to #balance myself. I’m not working out to punish myself for eating. And I’m not going to quit eating if I miss a workout. I’m going to workout when I can, and feel amazing for doing it. And I’m going to eat a #cannoli (or two🤫)and not feel guilty because I know I’ve generally prioritized #healthy habits through the week. I’m not worried if my #butt 🍑looks bigger than the next girl’s. I’m focused on how #comfortable I feel in my own skin. 💃I’m #happy and #endorphin-charged when I work out. I feel like I #accomplished 💪something good for myself. I don’t step on scales or worry about pounds. I just ask myself if I feel as though I’ve done a good job taking care of myself that week, and if I have LOVED 💗 myself more than I have JUDGED 👩‍⚖️ myself. That’s why I workout. And that’s why I love my #tribe of women 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧who are taking time to prioritize their health too. Treat Tips:
🍩pick your treat- if your dining out are you going to use the bread basket, apps, wine or dessert as your treat. If your at home save the goodness for those goodies that you always look forward to that aren’t readily available around every corner
🍩use the correct portion- since these are usually higher in calories per serving they can easily undo any calorie deficit you were previously in during the week
🍩actually SIT down and enjoy it (don’t skimp here) how does it feel in your mouth, what is the texture when you bite into it, what does it smell like- savor it all
🍩pick a good one-nothing worse then eating a brownie or a cookie that isn’t even cooked or made the way your REALLY enjoy it. .

There is no one food, no special drink, no single exercise device, no supplement, no pill, no one trick for fat loss.

When you see a product being marketed as such, it should be an instant red flag to you.
.
If you think you only need to change one thing, even just trying one specific diet, you’re missing the point.
.
There are many small changes that need to be made for lasting success. And they can be different for everyone. But there definitely isn’t just “one trick” that would work (long-term) for anyone.

Health and wellness isn’t just on the outside. It is the inside and out. It's more than just exercising and eating right. Getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, and removing toxins is part of the equation. But most importantly... You've got to love YOU!

A few favorites I grab for almost everyday:
🌿Frankincense with Jojoba Oil on my face as a moisturizer- my skin has never been clearer.
🌿Inner Child on my diffuser necklace for all the happy feels & creativity.
🌿 Thieves + Citrus Fresh for an immune boost before our daily errands or play dates.
🌿Grapefruit in my water.
🌿Peppermint on my temples for focus and tension while I tackle my to-do list over naptime.
🌿Peace & Calming ll for said naptime.
🌿Stress Away on my wrists for afternoon wind down.

I always love a good fried chicken but never figured out how to cook it..... until now!

I came across @nomnompaleo crispy chicken recipe and figured I'd give it another shot! All I can say is WOW!! It had me when i saw it was fried in ghee! Also that she uses thighs with the skin on is another win in my book.Other than that it's just salt and seasoning of your choice. I used @traderjoes savory seasoning mix. Might be the best chicken I've ever cooked!.

One tip...follow her pro tip and invest in a splatter guard before making this. I didn't see that part and didn't use one. Let's just say I had a lot of cleaning to do lol.

#HealthyishCookbook by @lindsaymaitland is another one of those cookbooks that you can pick up and immediately start cooking from. No special kitchen equipment/tools or crazy ingredients — just whole food! This Crispy Broccoli, Pepper, & Burrata Sheet Pan Dinner from her “Vegetarian Dinners” section was quick to prep and cook — made for a great, no-fuss #MestlessMonday option! I think my favourite part of this meal was how the sliced lemons roasted and caramelized leaving behind a tart syrup — gave so much flavour to the other roasted elements! (To make this meal vegan just omit the cheese!) #eatworthyhealthyish @abramsbooks .

Breakfast for dinner is the best way to go🏃🏻‍♀️😋 Tonight I️ made rolled oats with strawberries, blueberries, 1/2 a banana, PB, coconut flakes, chia seeds, honey, and cinnamon! So many things went on top of my oatmeal, but each has a different nutritional value, and they all taste so good together🌸 •

As a mum it's so important to have a healthy breakfast but with everything we're juggling so often we don't. We grab something quick and convenient (which typically equals unhealthy) if we even grab anything at all. So I have to admit I get pretty excited knowing I can get loads of nutrients and superfoods (spirulina, mushroom powder, sprouts and more) hidden in the form of a vanilla milkshake. Not only that it's seriously the easiest thing to make: 1x frozen banana, coconut milk and my plant based vegan protein powder - pop it in the NutriBullet and bam, healthy breakfast sorted for the day, but it's also seriously yummy. Tastes like a milkshake only healthy... 🎶 (now I'm going to have the cocopops tune in my head all morning 😂)
