Breakfast this morning was two pieces of Pederson’s bacon, two fried eggs on a bed of baby kale and spinach sautéed in grass-fed butter with garlic and lemon juice, and garlic and herb baby potatoes.

Happy Saturday🤗 Just wanted to share my favorite way to start my favorite day of the week. A quick, healthy and easy to make breakfast is a parfait! Packed with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants this is the answer to your prayers; and can we talk about how beautiful it is😍🤤 So I started off with some leftover vegan lemon bars as my base, added chopped mango and a layer of non-fat plain Greek yogurt• Then add slivers of grapefruit(I would imagine orange would be a great alternative) and poked in some juicy blackberries• As if it wasn’t enough already I had to add some pomegranate seeds!! One, because they always add a beautiful touch of color but they are also jam packed with antioxidants and vitamins that my body needs• To finish off I crushed some cashews, pistachios and a pinch of oats to act as my granola for a touch of crunch! • If you like this suggestion and would like to see more please comment ‘🤪’ and I’ll keep them coming! The perfect Saturday morning breakfast: @simplemills pancakes 🥞 their mixes are grain and dairy free, so #paleo friendly ☺️ I brought a box of their pancake mix with me all the way to France, and I’ve been saving it for a special occasion. 5 months later I finally used it 😂 and they were so delicious! I filmed a funny video yesterday but I talked about something that is super important for everyone and that is mindful eating. I honestly believe that mindful eating was what has helped me with all the stomach and acne problems I had with this diet. It is super important to be conscious of what you eat, where you eat and how you eat. With this in mind I am going to be focusing the month of March practicing mindful eating. My body knows exactly how much food I need and when I need it, so rather than rely on my own schedule, I am going to rely on my body’s schedule. .

I am just obsessed with #crispyeggs. I can’t get enough of them. I love them fried in high heat #avocado 🥑 oil. Turn up the heat all the way and get the oil shimmering before you drop your eggs in. I cover the pan a little more than half way through to get the yolk cooked a little more but if you like it less, don’t do that. #whole30 #healthybreakfast #fitlife #paleo #breakfastathome

🦄From a marketing perspective, this is one of the worst posts a fitness professional could publish on their platform. Especially if they're using their platform to draw in paying clients.

☕️At the same time, from a benefit & integrity perspective...it's the best thing a fitness professional could post.

🦄Because even though it's not fun or marketable or sexy or exciting to know fat loss is difficult. It's a challenge day-in and day-out. It's a mind game just as much (if not more) as it is a physical one. You WILL get hungry. You WILL get frustrated. And you WILL make mistakes.

☕️Even though it's not fun to hear...it does help. Because the "key" to fat loss doesn't lie in the nitty gritty. It doesn't matter if you're low-carb or high-carb or plant-based or Paleo or IIFYM or Nearly Headless Nick. It doesn't matter if you workout 3 or 4 or 5 times/week. It doesn't matter if you do HIIT or LISS or Quidditch or Wizards Chess.

🦄Does it all play a role? Yes, of course. But the "key" to fat loss lies in consistency. And, specifically, whether or not you're able to follow a program - ANY program - that gets you results for the long-term. Not a week or 21 days or 3 months. Years. Years and years and years. For the rest of you life.

☕️Because when you can do something consistently, sustainably, and without fear of going "off track," you win. Because then you won't quit. And as long as you never give up, you'll always come out on top.
