Almost 2 years ago I started attempting makeupless days in public, a feat I NEVER thought I'd even consider. I felt most terrified in my home town where people had never seen my natural face. I thought that the friends I grew up with wouldn't recognize me, or that they would gawk at my acne and scars, or that they wouldn't even want to talk to me. That never happened. I still have friends, my family didn't abandon me, my boss never stopped taking me seriously, and the sun still rose... every day ☀️ -

Oh, but I'm not giving up on makeup, no! When I lived in Barcelona in 2014 my acne was so bad I couldn't even open my mouth; makeup was a tool to get me out of the house. Sometimes lipstick turns a bad day into a good day, or sparks a light inside of you! Other days I just want to express my creativity and apply a full face of war-paint, just because! -

I took this picture on the beach yesterday and realized I have gone almost 2 weeks without even thinking about makeup! What!? That's insane for me! I have slowly been giving myself permission to feel beautiful with or without makeup. Today I feel grateful for this 😊

Keep your focus on you and your own goals. Forget what your friend or neighbor is doing or how far along on their journey they are. Your focus should be doing what’s best for you, working on your goals, and staying in your own lane! Woke up today ready to conquer the day— T25 workout full of: lunges, squats, burpees, and sprints— followed by 2 miles of intervals (jog/ run/ sprint/ recover)! Have a great day and don’t forget to keep your eyes on your own goals!!

OUR LITTLE FAMILY IS ON THE ROAD!!!! If you guys saw my santa letter post from last night, you have just a small inking of HOW MUCH being able to get away together and spend some QUALITY time with each other, and with family this week means ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Because of Josh's schedule we haven't been able to have a getaway like this since last Christmas! And with him leaving again in a few short weeks, this week is EVERYTHING!!! Please pray for our travels if you think of it 💕
