Great things are coming!! It’s finals week and things are kinda hectic but overall I’m feeling optimistic and super excited for what’s to come.
One day you will be at the place you always wanted to be.
Christmas is 2 weeks from tomorrow. That’s nuts / not prepared AT ALL.

Majime Day 6/365: I’ve always thought of Sunday’s to be reserved for home. Whether bathed in warm sun with nothing but a good book, or lying on the soft quilt of my bed, revelling in the love and aroma of delicious food that flows so freely between our white walls - what’s irrevocable is that yes, Sunday’s are reserved for home. But staying consistent to my commitment for Majime, this morning after resurrecting out dormant Christmas tree from its cardboard coffin, making a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, yoghurt, and avocado, I then trained with Freeletics running 10 x 200m sprints and a recovery run to a local beach for a swim in crystal clear water. To be clear on the content of my Instagram posts, I’ll be writing them in the form of summaries from longer form blogs on my Quora account. Today being day 6/365 I’d like to mention a quote by Gordon B. Hinckley ― “The major work of the world is not done by geniuses. It is done by ordinary people, with balance in their lives, who have learned to work in an extraordinary manner.” Reflecting on the past few months, the focus for me in my life needs to be on balance. What were once days filled with too much leisure and freedom now need to be balanced with responsibility and commitment. And what I too often leave home in pursuit of now needs to be balanced with wisdom of using the convenience and peace of home to do. One example of this includes lunch and completing priority tasks at home (if I can manage it) before heading out the door. Looking at myself objectively I’ve realised that if I use my time at the coffee shop to work on tasks, I usually start by procrastinating on social media, drinking my coffee and only when the buzz of caffeine starts coursing through my blood finally begin work. But it’s short lived and unfocused as I’ll often become distracted or frustrated at something around me, not to mention the 20 minute drive it takes me to arrive. So realising this, I’ve since decided to stay at home until I finish what needs to be done for the day. Some of the highlights were: Quota’s distribution of my answer to 10’000 people, ocean swim, and spending time with my sister and Mum.
Everyone might feel that @instagram is kinda lame these days but I owe it a lot to this application for all the friends and people I have met through it. Love you guys!
