Hebrew 12:2

Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed - that exhilarating finish in and with God - he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.
Melkam Timket for my family and Instagram friends 🙏🏽💚💛❤🙏🏽 Timkat (Amharic: ጥምቀት which means "baptism") (also spelled Timket, or Timqat) is the Ethiopian Orthodox celebration of Epiphany. It is celebrated on January 19 (or 20 on Leap Year), corresponding to the 10th day of Terr following the Ethiopian calendar. Timkat celebrates the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River. This festival is best known for its ritual reenactment of baptism (similar to such reenactments performed by numerous Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land when they visit the Jordan). During the ceremonies of Timkat, the Tabot, a model of the Ark of the Covenant, which is present on every Ethiopian altar (somewhat like the Western altar stone), is reverently wrapped in rich cloth and borne in procession on the head of the priest. The Tabot, which is otherwise rarely seen by the laity, represents the manifestation of Jesus as the Messiah when he came to the Jordan for baptism. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated near a stream or pool early in the morning (around 2 a.m.). Then the nearby body of water is blessed towards dawn and sprinkled on the participants, some of whom enter the water and immerse themselves, symbolically renewing their baptismal vows.💚💛❤ #godisgreat ❤🙏🏽

Si tu veux aller vite, marche seul mais si tu veux aller loin, marchons ensemble... #ETERNEL_INCOMPRIS_SEUL_LETERNEL_ME_COMPRENDRA...
In the harshest and hottest desert in the Holy Land—the Judean wilderness—is an oasis called Ein Gedi, which is the natural spring that King David of the Bible fled to when he was running for his life. Ein-Gedi, the largest oasis along the western shore of the Dead Sea, is surrounded by towering palm trees and lush greenery that gets life from a fresh water spring that has flowed over a waterfall at the site for thousands of years. It was inside this life-giving oasis, in the middle of a scorching desert that David wrote psalms about God’s ability to restore the weary, sustain the weak, and bring life to those in need.
Throughout the Bible, Ein-Gedi is used as a picture of life and refreshment. David wrote about the waterfall of Ein-Gedi because he knew that when life is harsh like a desert … God as like an oasis. Life can be dry and tiring at times. It can be difficult and it can wear you down until you're unable to take another step—but God is our oasis of living water where we are refreshed, renewed and restored.
Do you feel stranded today? Have you been burned? Are you exhausted? Has life worn you down? I pray today that God will refresh you today and bring life to your situation. Today we will pray for everyone who LIKES this post and COMMENTS with EIN-GEDI to indicate you need God to restore you.

"I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water." Isaiah 41:18
