80 Day Obsession Cardio Flow Day 6 ✔

Honestly I totally think flow is misleading. To me flow is gentle and relaxing. This should of been called Cardio Rapids. Either way I pushed through even on those diamond squat jumps. Which after leg day were a killer.

Then the second I popped off my shoes and tried to relax I was bombarded. Oh well that's mom life and I wouldn't have it any other way 😘

I love leg day. I love lifting and squating weight. I love to push through that burn. The exercise that kicked my ass today?
.
A exercise that required no weight, just balance. The Single-Leg Good Morning. Not only did this challenge my balance but boy did I feel the burn in my whole leg & all the way up to my butt. I tried both hands in front and at my ears to help keep my balance I think handsome friend request from me. I think hands in front worked best for me. .
Did this move challenge anyone else? What arm position best help you keep your balance?

Well today has been one of those, can it just be over kinda days. My toddler somehow gave my computer the blue screen of death and then refused to nap. On top of that fun my allergies are going crazy but with a box of tissues close by I pushed through. Thanks to my workout I have regained a little bit of my sanity. Now 🤞 my amazing husband can fix the computer.

TRYING!!! Some of these core moves had me thinking “no way I can do that”, but I tried it and really surprised myself.

Your mind will shut down long before your body will, so my best advice to you is JUST TRY!!! Become OBSESSED with trying! .

I’ve been on a regular workout schedule and my nutrition has been on point for the last three weeks. What a DIFFERENCE! I know there will be bumps in the road, but I feel like I’m BACK 👊🏻it’s true what they say.... moving your body 🤸🏻‍♀️😅and fueling it with simple clean food 🍓🥑🥕🍳 leaves me feeling my best - bonus my hair is long enough for a crazy top knot and that’s also making me happy 😆 #cleaneating #moveyourbody #goodforthesoul #30minsaday #getsweatybehappy

I never thought I could grow to hate jump rope moves but yeah that happened today. Very thankful today's cardio was only 40 mins. Now I can lay on the floor for at least 20 mins before motherhood duties start calling.

I like to do dumbbell exercises because I feel I can build each arm separately. When doing machine exercises the motion is shared between arms. Because one arm is more dominant than the other the dominant arm will compensate for non dominant arm. This limits each arm to get that full range of motion. Equal Strength in both arms is KEY 🔑! 💦The Video💦 •Chest flys (10lbs)
•Plank position single arm rows (20lbs)
•Seated shoulder press (15 lbs)
•Bent over single arm rows (30 lbs) ~REPEAT 3x, increasing weight each round~

Is there really such a thing as too much exercise? The short answer is YES. I've been on both ends of the spectrum, exercising too little along with go too hard, and neither were beneficial.
#
Some signs of over-exercising:
🌀Rather than energizing you, you may feel like a nap after a workout
🌀Hormonal issues
🌀Weight gain (yes, for real – ties in with the hormonal issues and over-stressing your body)
🌀Insatiable appetite (this can also be related to the kind of exercise along with types of foods you are eating)
🌀Sore muscles constantly

Today's 60 min workout turned into an 80 min workout thanks to all the pausing and loop fixing I had to do. I think I maybe made it through 1 exercise without having a loop roll up on me. Most the time adding a 2nd loop helped but not always. What really mattered is I just kept fixing it and kept going. I could of gotten frustrated and quit but I didn't.

Attitude really is everything. Like my @dissidentgymwear tank says, I can. I will. END OF STORY!

Frizzy Hair don’t care!!!! It’s warm and humid for first day of PT at Harold Rossiter Park in Kensington. I can fit a whole lota exercise in the boot of my lil Fiat!
