Completely delicious chocolate spiders ... 1 packet of Chang noodles
1 sachet of our Complete Dutch Chocolate plant based protein
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
2.5 tablespoons of organic peanut butter
1/2 a cup of almond milk
3 fruit and 3 vegetable chews cut in half

Combine all soft ingredients in microwave safe dish. Heat in microwave until soft; around thirty seconds, stirring in ten second incriminates and finally stir in Chang noodles.

Take a round a tablespoon of the noodle base in your hand and make it into a ball. Flatten slightly onto baking paper, on plate to go in fridge. Set for 20 minutes enjoy!

WHY ORGANIC?
I always choose organic when it’s available and I always try to find organic produce. I often get the question why, so here are my top reasons:
1. I don’t want to have all those pesticides in my or my families body.
2. Organic tastes way better.
3. I learned that one reason the bees are dying are all those chemicals used in conventional farming and I don’t want to support that.
4. I know they control the amount of pesticides and chemicals that are ok to have left on fruits and veggies but those controls/limits are based on the assumption that you eat 5 pieces of fruits and veggies a day. I’m eating far more than that so I would exceed this limit every day!
5. I don’t believe in the fact that we know better than nature. Nature knows best how to grow fruits and veggies.
6. I don’t have to peel and wash all the fruits and veggies son much because I’m afraid of all the chemicals that are left.
7. I don’t want to support the use and production of chemicals which are bad for me, the planet and all creatures on earth.

This #strugglemeal #dinner is kind of a southwestern-ish shepherd's pie meets chili bake. This will serve at least four people. It's super quick and good. Here's the breakdown: can of unsalted mixed veggies 39 cents, can of unsalted kidney beans 89 cents, salsa about 15 cents, vegan cheddar about 75 cents, box of vegetarian cornbread 59 cents (I made a chia egg and used unsweetened almond milk to make it vegan - probably another 25 cents), green olives about 15 cents, a dollop of guac about 50 cents, and a smear of vegan butter that isn't enough to count, salt, pepper, garlic, chili powder, and cumin from my pantry.#dinnertime #strugglemeals #vegheads #veghead

Today's Lesson: When we consume a rainbow of fruits and vegetables each day, this helps insure you get enough of the different nutrients needed for optimum health. Red, blue, and purple fruits and vegetables usually contain anthocyanins. Anthocyanins have antioxidant properties that help limit damage caused to our cells by free radicals and may lower the risk for heart disease, stroke, cancer, macular degeneration, and memory problems. Red fruits and vegetables often contain lycopene as well. Lycopene may help lower the risk for cancer and heart disease. Brightly colored fruits and vegetables contain essential vitamins and minerals such as potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, and folate. Many compounds in fruits and vegetables help keep our vision and immune system healthy and limit the risk for urinary tract infections. White fruits and vegetables get their color from polyphenol compounds with antioxidant properties called anthoxanthins, which may help lower your risk for heart disease and cancer. The compounds that give orange and yellow fruits and vegetables their color are called carotenoids. Carotenoids may help improve your immune function and lower your risk for heart disease, vision problems, and cancer. Chlorophyll gives green fruits and vegetables their color. Some of these fruits and vegetables also contain indoles, which may lower your risk for cancer, and lutein, which helps prevent problems with your vision So many health benefits from eating the most delicious food on this planet!
