I’m trying out this whole thing called reading again. 🤭 I haven’t finished a book in maybe two years? I read a quote weeks ago that I keep thinking about: “Reading is my inhale; writing is my exhale.” (I can’t remember who said it so if you know, help a curious girl out!) I’ve been doing a lot of exhaling lately. Which is great for career goals and all but I miss the deep breath of others’ words in print. When I was a kid you couldn’t get my nose out of a book for anything. I spent weekends at the library while my mom worked and I read every single book in the children’s section. In middle school recess and lunch were definitely for reading. Shoot, I even had a book in front of my face while I was walking from one class to another. Now that I’m almost 30 I think it’s high time to be a kid again. 🎠
