I am repared for another early morning &&& I've taken crazy bag lady to a new level 😶🙃 I'm at four bags right now...maybe I'll at a fifth next week...
.
But hey, I'd rather be spend the few extra minutes every night getting myself prepared for the upcoming day rather than wake up in a panic trying to get all of stuff rounded up. I'd definitely end up forgetting something and choosing quicker & less healthy meals to pack...which is NOT what I want to do!!

18/365 - And I present to you, the progression of my morning!!! Though, this doesn’t include our 7am soccer lift prior to all of this.. but yeah, lift/Strength & Conditioning, then a run to, through and from Lincoln Park (just over 2 miles or so). It was a really good way to get my day going before my first class of the day!!! Feeling great this week physically, though being back at school is a bit draining; all good though, we’ll bounce back. One of my all time favorite things about these programs is that I can do them in my living room. But lately I've found that my motivation level is at an ALL TIME LOW when I try to get off the couch and push play. So I'm switching it up a little bit by taking my workouts to the gym 👌

I may have bags on bags under my eyes, but my job is worth it. It's worth the early mornings and the no sleep. Yes, when my alarm clock goes off at 3:50AM I feel like crying... But once I get up and realize that I have the PRIVILEGE to glorify God today...that feeling goes away & and it's ALL worth it.

People always ask me if I get paid for my internship and of course I tell them I don't && they reply with, "ohh that kinda stinks". At first I agreed with them, but you guys!!!!!!!!!!.... We weren't born just to pay bills and die. HECK NO!! Like go find what makes you HAPPY and what you find JOY & PASSION & PURPOSE in and DO IT regardless of how much money you make. Because here's the thing, you can't take all of the money and all your possensions with you when you die. So start living for eternity and serving the Lord with all your heart.

Traveling for work doesn’t mean days off...dedication + support from fellow challengers will get me through this trip!
Gym was practically empty in the hotel which was awesome!! Streamed day 4 of this new total body workout program before a long day of meetings and lectures 👍

17/365 - uh, soooo my phone won't turn on/charge (reporting to you live from the iPad), so I can't post the picture or rant I had lol.. But long story short, first day back at school means a LOT of stairs, and it was basically a rant about picking the stairs over the elevator.. I want to live. To love big. To take adventures. To laugh until I squeal cry. To see my kids grow old and see them live into who God created them to be. I want to experience more joy. To be brave and live courageously. To own every second. .

And that starts by being the healthiest strongest version of myself! .

I am DETERMINED to stay on track with my health and fitness goals NO MATTER how crazy hectic my schedule is. I am focused on taking responsibility for myself && I will stop blaming my circumstances for my inability to change. I will CREATE and LOOK for the circumstances I want 😀

HOLYYYY BOOTY WORK!! Day 2 is DONE and that workout was amazing!! I never thought I'd get that good of a workout with JUST resistance bands. My booty is on fire 🙃🙃 I was dreading this workout at first (probably cause it was 60 min. long), but the minute I drank my all natural preworkout I was READY TO GO!!

16/365 - While this picture was taken yesterday, it definitely has to do with today, as I moved back to school for my last semester of undergrad!! While I’ll be back and forth for the first 2 weeks due to pup sitting, I needed to make sure I had decent food to keep me on track/keep the momentum going from the first 2 weeks. While we stopped at several stores, we ended up at stop & shop, where they had their version of a healthy section, which I think is fantastic! But! It’s important to not just assume everything in these sections are great for you. While I won’t go into a rant about any specific item, just be informed when you’re buying food, especially for your body type and the workload you’re putting out! Also, killed my workout this morning and this afternoon, so im feeling accomplished lol. Now that we have this rant out of the way, I’m exhausted and just about dying out on today’s move in day.. Long post warning, but a message I felt compelled to share. .
.
I had a bit of a panic attack yesterday. A mini meltdown. .
.
I have been posting how excited I am about this new program that launched today, but being the perfectionist that I am, I freaked out because I am starting something new and change always scares me. .
.
I want to make sure I do everything right. I want things to go smoothly the whole time and not “mess anything up.” .
.
My meltdown started when I didn’t make it to the grocery store when I wanted in order to have time to meal prep...
.
.
Wow...as I write this, it completely sinks in at how silly that sounds, but that’s how I felt in the moment. .
.
I know that there will be slip ups during this program (I already had one today)...I mean, it’s totally knew and I am still learning. .
.
But, I am passionate about sticking to the plan, doing the workouts and following the meal plan to the best of my ability, and getting the results that I hope to get. .
.
Reality is...I am not in change. God is. And he will guide me in this adventure that I am so passionate about.

These bands...my booty...OMG SORENESS! 😮 Incorporating these things in the new workout routine clearly makes my body work for it!! It is great to always keep your body guessing to reach new goals!
Yup, just got to the office and already feeling it. Day 2 of the new total body program is in the books✅

It's morning like this when I'm extra grateful for my chocolate superfoods. I was on the road by 4:45 and was HANGRYYY. I don't know about you, but I can't really eat that early in the morning so superfoods shake it is 😀😀 plus it takes like less than a minute to make 👌

15/365 - Foremost, we must acknowledge someone who’s weight in this world could never be correctly described, even with the finest of vocabularies. Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day, and Happy Birthday to the man who had his natural years stolen from him. I am truly grateful for him and his break through’s in Civil Rights. While the current political climate was not apart of the movement he led/envisioned, the amount of people who have stood up for themselves, their basic human rights, and their allies, is a testament to his message from all those years ago. I pray that we will not go any further backwards, and will heed the many graceful words & concepts that MLK Jr left us. With that, and it being his day, I will leave you simply with a favorite quote of mine from this man.
