Lower bar, higher standards 😇
Annoying squat rack. Or annoying body height. I either have to tiptoe or do a quarter squat to re-rack 😅

I'm gaining-losing the same (couple of) kilogram(s) 🙃 I'd like to say it is because this is my body's 'sweet spot' but it really is not. That's somewhere around 60kg, in a far 2st distance 😅
• Cons: Haven't logged anything the past week or so, but have been eating all the foods. Also haven't set foot at the gym due to attending training and being at work 10 days straight. When I had an afternoon/evening to myself, I spent that with my daughter whom I haven't seen for a week.
• Pros: My sleeping finally seems to be at bay! Well... getting there at least. Which means I have more energy and I'm less likely to raid the junk cupboard in awe to achieve a sugar kick out of desperation, when caffeine no longer works.

Slow-twitch muscle fibers (also known as “Type I”) generate less power and strength than fast-twitch fibers, but they have can sustain activity for longer. The cells within these muscles excel at clearing waste and using oxygen as fuel and, within the muscles, there’s a high-density of capillaries, which helps bring blood to the muscles. During a marathon, you primarily use slow-twitch fibers.
Fast-twitch muscle fibers (also known as “Type II”) generate far more power and strength, but they fatigue much faster and require more time for recovery. There are also two types of fast-twitch fibers: Type IIa and Type IIb. Type IIa yields more endurance but produces slightly less strength; Type IIb creates the most strength, but yields less endurance.

Unfortunately this scenario is so true of many people I come across, jumping from one diet to another because it's the latest one out. DON'T MUG YOURSELF, if weight loss is your goal you need to consistently use more calories than you consume. There are many diets out there that can help you do this CONSISTENTLY find what works for you and stick with it, don't keep jumping from one to another 'cos some frickin' celebrity is promoting it. #mlrpt #celebrities #weightloss #diet
