Day 17: “intense cardio” and wow was it!! PSA: Thursday mornings are better when they feature a salted caramel smoothie bowl. Fact. RECIPE >> 5 florets frozen cauliflower, 2 bananas, 5 medjool dates, 1 tbsp maca powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp flaxseed and 1 cup almond mylk ~ blended until creamy and topped with fresh bluebs, cacao nibs, rose petals and @pipandnut almond butter 💛💛💛 I've got a super busy (but extra specially fun) day ahead ~ I've got baking to do and the gym to go to, not to mention a hot date with @beth_heddle this afternoon! I hope you all have some super fun plans too (and if not then this is a sign that u should make some okay byeeee [just kidding, having no plans is one of my favourite things] 💃🏻) .

This week’s workouts have included; Monday
Gym session: 5 min warm up at 13.4kph, x10 rounds of 30 secs on/ off sprints starting at 18.1-19kph, I then tried my hand at x5 rounds of 30 secs on/ off “dead” mill sprints (jeez these were tough!), x10 box squat jumps into ouch up burpees, x10 overhead ball slams into burpee and finished on an abs set.

Tuesday
2.4 mile run averaging 8”13 a mile

Wednesday
Morning
“Super Sweaty” tabata supersets 21 min workout
Evening
Gym session: 5 min warm up at 13.2kph, x10 rounds of 30 secs on/ off sprints from 19.1-19kph, 5 min interval training on the rower (30 secs mod effort, 30 secs max effort), 15kg sandbag workout of bent over row into x10 overhead press sumo squat, x10 sumo squat, x10 normal squat, x10 ski squat ✌🏼💪🏼🏆

Jerk Tekkers
So often the jerk gets overlooked in Olympic lifting.
It's not all about the clean and what's really impressive is when you put big weights over head.
Teaches us to be speedy and ballsy to get under that barbell.
