🍰fall out boy - lullabye🍰

Tea in medical pun mug to try and get me through the rest of my study day without eating a whole pack of biscuits. Only achieved 1.5 lectures of my alloted 4 for today so definitely on a go slow! Let's try and pick up the pace for the last few hours!

Just before the holidays come the examinations (or assessment as some schools call it now) and its that season.

Whether we parents are excited or not, it doesn't really matter, our children still have to through the few days set aside.

So how can we come in to be of help?

1. We can remind them of what our expectations are. This is great if you had set some goals at the beginning of the term

2. Revise with them. It's weekend so you can get some rest. It'll definitely be nice if we can spare a few hours just to help them get ready

3. Pray with them. When I was in the university, we used to say 'pray like you don't study, then study hard like you didn't pray at all'. This is an opportunity to pass this habit (or is it principle) on to them.

What's in it for you the parent?

1. Opportunity to bond
2. An open door to discuss stuff that might have been on either of you'd mind
3. Life lessons can be taught
4. Best of all, your child sees you as a partner and friend (you never know what that might lead to in your relationship). If you have any more helpful tips, do leave a comment.

Has this been of help to you?
If yes, please share with with someone
