✖ WORK LIFE ✖
.
people are quick to think event management is a glamorous and fun career... while it's incredibly rewarding + has its perks (like meeting incredible artists!!) It is FAR from glamorous.
.
last night I managed my last major event before bubs comes along + treating 8,500 people to a concert has brought me SO much stress over the past 10 months. and pregnancy brought a whole new set of challenges. .
I stood on stage looking out at the incredible crowd + had to get down because i started tearing up... I had a feeling inside me that I knew this was my last big gig. Events is exhausting, stressful + brings a HUGE responsibility with it.
.
I guess this is how athletes feel when they just "know" it's time to retire. I'm exhausted + feeling broken but so proud of what I've achieved. Now it's time to nest (while finishing off the event season) + look forward to this next stage as a mummy... then, who knows what's next!
.
But what a fricken event to go out on!! Killing Heidi and Justice Crew killed it!!

We are so excited to be at the @loveandlight_festivals this weekend. I know we have been going on about it all week but seriously if you are engaged this is an event not to be missed.
It is full of exciting new styling ideas, on trend themes, amazing venues, incredible wedding vendors, literally EVERYTHING you need to plan your wedding at this one event! You won't even need to shop around after you have finished this weekend.

A little @ausoutbacknt birdie filled me in that the NT Govt has announced a “tourism stimulus package” and the convention bureau has established a “business event support fund”. Business event planners considering the NT as a destination can apply for up to a maximum of $50,000 per event! Never been a better time to take clients north!
