Today, I got to introduce B to one of my all time favorite movies, The Princess Bride. I couldn’t even begin to try and count how many times I watched this movie as a kid. It’s a classic and today shared it with my daughter at an old school theater in town. The @lapalomatheatre played it on 35mm. It’s not flash nor modern, but it’s perfect.
Tonight we keep saying, “as you wish.”

A wonderful day at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Vista. A beautiful church that was VERY welcoming...
Our inaugural campaign baby picture - Little Nathan! God Bless.
Storytime: After a bit of shopping last night, the gentleman behind the counter blurted out, “So what exactly does the San Diego Track Club entail?” I was confused, until I realized I was wearing my (favorite) SDTC hoodie. I said, “I’m not gonna lie. It involves a bit of running.” He laughed, and then told me he ran Track when he was younger. I told him I was more of a distance guy. It’s funny how different running for speed and distance can be. Obviously some can do both, but that was not, nor ever will it ever be me. His times were very fast. I told him about our Men’s Team. I told him about our weekly Track speed workouts, and I told him about our supported long runs, which is huge. Then I talked about the most important part: the people. These people continue to make a difference in my life, the lives of one another, and back to the community. Honored to run with these people, photograph them at their best, and am lucky to have these same people support me when I need it. Here we are on race day, standing on the 101 during sunrise, about to run along the Sea. Coach Paul rallies the masses. I can’t wait to head to North County in a couple of weeks for the Encinitas Half Marathon. We are spoiled Runner’s out here, and I love it. Come and join us! Life is unfairly short. Run that marathon. Ride, climb, surf, swim that whatever. Play outside, and be your best you.
