My friends always call me the Aldi advocate, so they'll probably laugh at yet another comment about how amazing @aldiusa is... BUT, I was considering going to Panera and spending $10+ for a chicken salad sandwich that totaled 700 cals without a side. Instead, I went to aldi and got spinach, bread, grapes, kiwi, and their delicious cranberry almond chicken salad for $9 and made this meal. 👌🏼 minus the grain blend that was leftover, you can't deny that aldi is the best way to bargain shop for healthy meals. ❤

Today I had lunch with my family. We had turkey sandwiches, strawberries, fresh artisan bread, and spinach hummus with sundried tomatoes, cucumber and carrots. I made a turkey pot pie for my daughter to take home for dinner. Everything was delicious! 😋

Pesto pasta for dinner😍I’ve used chicken heck sausages, onion, mushrooms, courgette, light pesto and topped with light cheese🙌🏻😋As I done my workout this morning before work it actually felt nice to come home from work and put my pjs on and make dinner straight away🙌🏻I might actually attempt getting up early again tomorrow and do a work out🤔💪🏻

Let’s talk..... ABS😝

Honestly, ya girls abs are a lil shy (basically cause I store more fat in my stomach area🙄 thx mom & dad) but I’m workin on them!!😅 I usually train abs twice a week... remember, abs are like any other muscle group and they need recovery time!!🙌🏼 along with training them twice a week, I try and mix up the exercises that I do each time because I find that it’s less effective when I do the same 3 or 4 ab exercises every time I train🤷🏻‍♀️ aaaaaaand, cardio is a big one when trying to get visible abs!!!! Everyone has them, but they’re typically under a layer of fat😭.... so, in order to see them, ya gotta decrease your body fat💪🏼

It’s important to remember that abs are also made in the kitchen!🍽 so make sure you’re eating right and fueling your body with gooood healthy foods👅 treat that tummy right people! A couple tips food wise that have worked for me is cutting out dairy (for the most part😅) and reducing sugar intake (I get natural sugars from fruit and such but try to minimize sugar intake from processed foods👍🏼)! •
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT!🧠🙌🏼 work hard in the gym, eat right, get enough sleep, stay hydrated, and focus on your goals🔥 you got this #kmfitfam ily all❤️

My favorite way to quickly prep veggies with flavor is roasting in the oven! 🔥
Preheat to 450. Rinse, chop, season, drizzle some oil, and in they go 👏🏼

After an indulgent holiday weekend I definitely needed a hearty, nutrient rich bowl full of delicious veggies.
The quinoa, bean, and pine nut combination makes for a well rounded #plantbased protein - perfect for #postworkout. .
I’ve got some healthy, filling carbs from basically everything in the bowl - lots of fiber and plenty of vitamins and minerals.
The different colors all help contribute to catching as many nutrients as possible.
Plus a dose of healthy fat from pine nuts, a little bit of feta cheese, and the olive oil used to dress the arugula.
Make this #vegan but omitting the feta cheese!
And as a bonus - this dinner (and lunch for two days) only took 20 minutes to make. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be a challenge!

Never know what kind of friends you’ll make when hiking! 🐕
This was overlooking Huaraz in Peru. I wanted to do a pretty easy hike to acclimate to the altitude so went in this one my first day there! Such pretty views 👌🏼
