Wrapping up the Thanksgiving celebrations, you may have found yourself feeling like "Whoa, that was fun, but I overdid it." So, wheres the best place to go with your next meal? Tune into your body, which will no doubt be craving nourishing foods and follow these guidelines... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How to bounce back after indulgences: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Start with a fresh juice or green smoothie. Make it ultra cleansing, using ingredients like dandelion greens, ginger, and lemon.
• Opt for a light, nourishing meal like a bowl of soup.
• Follow with a serving of fermented foods (or probiotics and vitamin supplements, if you take them).
• Drink ginger and tumeric tea (with a dash of black pepper) and go to sleep early. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Eat well & be well my friends 🙏❤️
it's been a while. Homemade thanksgiving sweet chili dorito Mac n cheese bun sammich with all the fixins. Homemade mash-taters with cheesy pulled turkey, honey ham cubes and a little slutty egg that for some reason leaked out of the ass of the sandwich. Thing was daaaank

Being a Healthy Eating Role Model –Anti obesity day special
Parents are role models and the most important influence in their children’s lives.
Eat the way you want your child to eat. Children learn by example
To get a sense of how your attitude might influence your children, examine your own behavior. • Do you snack all day long? • Do you eat in front of the TV? • Do you eat whenever you are bored or under stress? • Do you eat dessert at every meal? • Do you skip breakfast? • Do you have sodas rather than milk with your meals? • Do you diet all the time and have a fear of food?
If you answered “yes” to more than a few of these questions, you are likely sending unhealthy messages to your child about food.
Normally when you see an overweight kid, you will most likely see an overweight parent right next to him.
It’s really sad that those kids are getting off on a bad start in life. All us parents love our kids, and will do whatever best we can for them. So why not eat healthy, lead a healthy lifestyle and have good exercise regime, rest will fall in place...... it is that simple believe me.
Give them a reason to thank u latter in life.

.
Ain't that the truth? 😅
.
Also a good reminder that: .
➡What's inside your shopping cart = What's inside your fridge = What's inside your mouth (= What fat/disease cells are inside your body!)
.
Don't use the excuse "I'm just getting it as a treat for my kids"....Because we all know how that goes! Out of sight, out of mouth. (Plus if it's not the healthiest best thing for you to eat, do you really want to feed it to your kids anyway?😕)
.
This is a good thing to think about especially around the holidays...There are plenty of healthy satisfying food and treat alternatives! Just take the time to find or make them.
.
So clean out your fridge (and bod!) by paying attention to and controlling what you put in it.
.
(Plus if your fridge is anything like mine, there's not much inside it most of the time anyway.😂)
