post workout BCAA’s always 🙋🏼 now that I’m finally back in a routine of working out my muscles are SO sore. the DOM’s are seriously real. I just finished my arm workout and I can already tell that my arms are going to be impossible to lift over my head tomorrow

as much as I hate being sore, I also love it. it lets me know that I’ve worked hard and pushes myself to my limit. I definitely did not feel like working out today but I sucked it up and got it done

I always have people asking me what products I use so I figured I’d share

pre workout is always @cellucor C4 ripped, unless I’m out, and then it’s just regular C4
during workout I usually sip my BCAA’s unless I forget to mix them before 😂 which is often
post workout is always a scoop of @cellucor molten chocolate protein, tastes like hot chocolate, sooo good

BAKED APPLES🍎Super yummy & look fancy but are easy to make!👅. Perfect for all you guys celebrating thanksgiving this weekend too😉.
Here is the how-to:.
1. Cut the top half inch off the apple.
2. Scoop out the middle using a knife/spoon.
3. Add 1 tablespoon almond butter 🤤.
4. Fill with granola and any seeds you like.
5. Bake 350F for 30 minutes 💁🏻‍♀️.
6. Drizzle with a little maple before serving if you want 🙊.
7. ENJOY 😍.

Hey look, Meagan still lifts. Who woulda thunk, huh? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Finally coming out of the weird 3-weeks-post-meet deload thing our strength coach put us on. Long story short, our team had a sort of cascade of groups competing at two different meets so we were all on a different schedule, which made programming hard for such a big group. BUT👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼Here’s the purpose of this post: I️ have learned a lot about the sport and myself by allowing my lifting to become a more social, team sport. Aside from the first video, (which is really just a personal point of pride as I’d never done more than one rep of OHP with the bar before💁🏽,) nearly all of these videos have some kind of outside influence on them. If you’ll crank dat sound on up for a second 🔊 you can hear either encouragement from the team or our coach or some kind of cue. Thanks to this, I’ve pushed myself more than ever. And also did chin ups for the first time since 5th grade. 🙊The second and final videos are all proof of progress in form thanks to @kgs_and_rpes and all of his awesome tips and tricks for the semi-inexperienced power lifter ( hi. that is me 🙋🏽‍♀️Perks of having an awesome boyfriend in an awesome frat with awesome frat brothers that lift. #TheGirlfriendsofSPE 💁🏽) ANYWAYS: Don’t be afraid to break out of your “me time” frame of mind in the gym from time to time. It not only does wonders for your lifting, but you may find that you really enjoy hanging out with some of the people that lift with you. That, more than anything, has been great for me lately as I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress on the social front 🤗. But that’s another post. I’m off to Friendsgiving dinner with some friends from high school. BAI 😍🦃

No gym for about a week ‘til I get back to school! All I know is that I’ll have lots of energy once I’m back to continue growing!!! Currently, sitting in my hotel room & freezing 2 death here in Canada 🤧 But the view of Niagara Falls is AMAZING 🇨🇦

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I’d like to reflect on the things I am thankful for...my husband, my family, good health, and SWEET POTATO YOGURT BOATS 🍠😍☝🏼 Seriously so into the sweet potato and yogurt combo these days 🙋🏼 Baked an organic sweet potato 🍠 and cut it in half. Topped with @kitehillfoods blueberry Greek yogurt (this dairy free yogurt is made of almond milk, has 10 grams of protein 💪🏼 and tastes amazing!) + frozen blueberries warmed in a pan + @thrivemkt raw pecans and pumpkin seeds for crunch. That’s it! 👊🏼 What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? 🙏🏼
