Top 10 Favorite Hip Hop Albums Of All-Time (currently)
-
#3: Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (Raekwon)
-
Top 5 Favorite Tracks: Criminology, Guillotine (Swordz), Glaciers of Ice, Ice Cream and Wu-Gambinos
-
Easily a top 10 Hip Hop album of all-time in my opinion, Raekwon and fellow Wu members come together to create a mafioso movie type album as RZA intended it to be. The production on here is crispy and original yet very different from anything else. Funny thing is Raekwon is not even in my top 5 favorite Wu members but I can’t help but to play this album on the daily. Plenty of Wu’s best verses, beats and hooks are found on this album. ‘Guillotine (Swordz)’ is currently a top 5 favorite rap song all-time for me. While others on here are up there as well. Each posse cut on this album is exactly how I feel posse cuts are supposed to be done. Hardcore sound, clever lyrics, tremendous MC skills and memorable an dope ass beats.

Denzel Curry has been teasing us with posts about his upcoming album... Denzel has been working very hard to finish this album and I'm super excited to hear the "new" Denzel. I hope to see some experimentation with his music and let's hope he switches up his flow instead of sticking to his monotone flow. Denzel has been working with super talented producers and I can guarantee some awesome features from artists like IDK.

Mini Album Review
Album:: "EP"
Artist:: Childish Gambino
Release Date:: 3/8/11
Length:: 5 tracks, 20 mins

A 7 year old Gambino EP has recently been re released to streaming services, and I'm loving it. Within its short entirety, .we get greatness, and this just further progresses my opinion thay gambino is top 7 or top 5 new school. On the intro, he raps about being left alone, and not having a dad for him when he needs to be there, while doing this in a fantastic manner. The rest of the tape progresses into a lighter mood, and "Freaks and Geeks", is one of my favorite songs ever. Over the whole EP, we get great melodic singing, and the rap verses with extraordinary flow, over amazing beats. The singing-rapping mix is really what makes this as good as it is, and hopefully we get more just like this.

personally, i find the ‘damn.’ era in kendrick lamar’s career the most aesthetically pleasing thus far. as kendrick progresses in his career, his music visuals seems to just get better and better. not to knock the visuals from ‘to pimp a butterfly’ or say that i don’t think they’re incredible, but when it comes down to personal preference, i find videos such as “humble.” & “element.” to be the most eye popping and intriguing visuals you could ask for. and kendrick has done this time and time again with ‘damn.’. with my personal preference towards his most recent visuals, it makes me curious what y’all prefer. drop your opinion in the comments. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
a.) visuals from the ‘to pimp a butterfly’ era

Highly Suggested Artist: Freddie Gibbs
———————
Gangster Gibbs, not a new artist but he’s finally upcoming and getting some of the attention he deserves, but he’s still underrated by most. Freddie is one of the hardest rappers and has one of the coldest flows in the game. Another great thing about his music is how he syncs so well with his features and producers he collabs with such as Statik and Madlib, creating a very balanced match with Gibbs rapping style. Most of you know his album with Madlib, ‘Piñata’ but don’t sleep on his other projects, they’re all very good.
———————
Tracks in the slide:
1. 20 Karat Jesus
2. Smokin’ and ridin’ (feature)
3. Fuckin’ Up The Count
4. Harolds
———————
If you’re new to Freddie and swiped all the tracks, just go listen to his shit already, you know you want to

The first time you heard Dark Knight Dummo and you heard @travisscott say “get high like my name” and if you didnt know instantly that LA FLAME adlib was coming next then you probably started listening to Trav when BITTSM dropped. Those who been listening since Rodeo/DBR/OP usually know when and which adlibs come next in the first listen lol
Dark Knight Dummo vid out now, catch the full thing on @trippieredd official YouTube, they made a movie, this clip dont do it justice 🔥🙏🏽
