Woke up wanting to cook, so now I️ have a yummy lunch for work. One uncured German Sausage with mountain cheese (Aldi) and Brussels sprouts sautéed in bacon grease with pancetta, onions, and a few drops of balsamic glaze.
Honestly have been struggling the past couple days, discouraged with keto because I️m not seeing results. However, it’s helped me realize what I️ want to change and where I️ need to go from here. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Just weighed out for @ketoincanada Diet Bet challenge. Over the last month, the scale says I've lost 20 pounds. I can see a difference, but a good 8 pounds of that is attributed to a TERRIBLE stomach bug I've had for the last few days. I want to say I feel better, but honestly, I still feel miserable. I'll be able to appreciate my hard work in a few days.

Today is Whole 30 Day 16! That means I have made it half way through! Yay! I have gone 15 days with no cheats, not even licking the spoon when making goodies for the kids. I’ve been consciously avoiding that one bite parents take off their kids plates. I have stayed away from the chocolate bars I got in my stocking at Christmas. AND I avoided my Mother in Laws chicken and dumplings. (This was not easy because she is an amazing cook and it looked sooo good!) I feel so proud of all these moments and decisions, because they are getting me closer to my goal of completing my first Whole 30 and winning the dietbet I’m participating in! #whole30 #whole30newbie #januarywhole30 #dietbet #feelingproud #reachinggoals

Today's HIIT was treadmill tabata. Felt great and started watching the Oklahoma State vs Iowa wrestling meet while doing walking incline intervals up to 15 incline and back down. Every minute was a .5 adjustment. You can tell where I was really into the matches and forgot to adjust my incline. I almost fell off the treadmill at least twice from the leans when Iowa was in scoring position. Fun facts about me: I was a wrestling manager in high school and have followed college wrestling since I can remember. It's one of the things my dad and I bond over 😍 After yesterday's leg day and all of the inclines today, my legs and 🍑 are feeling the burn. Also, look at those steps already for 7 am and I forgot my makeup at home so it's all natural today.

I'm so incredibly excited to eat my breakfast it's not even funny! It looks and smells so good...the extra fat & calories from the bacon will be so worth it. Oh and I LOVE my Swiss Diamond pan!

Ingredients: 1 egg, 3 egg whites, 8 steamed brussel sprouts, 1/2 cup of mushrooms, 2 1/2 slices of bacon, 1/8 cup of colby jack cheese.

I'm feeling down after disappointing myself (I explain what happened on the previous post) so I don't really want to talk about food right now. or nutrition. or weight loss.
of course all those things matter and are among my priorities, but right now, I need to focus on other things, like the fact that my bed arrived yesterday and last night I was finally able to sleep on a proper bed after 3 months of sleeping on a mattress on the floor!! and it's pretty, too! 💖💤

I did it again last night. and now I'm scared. scared that this 'getting back on track' thing is just not for me. scared that I messed up for good. .
ever since I had that pizza a couple of days ago, I haven't been eating as great as I was before. all my cravings came back, and I've felt this unbelievably strong desire to eat all the wrong foods. I did okay for a couple of days, but yesterday, I was unprepared. (as much of a cliche as it is, preparation IS key). I didn't really have what I needed to make a healthy and yummy lunch at home, and I didn't feel like going to the store. so I waited, and waited and suddenly it was 9 pm and I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. and by then it felt inevitable: *of course* I was going to have pizza! I was *starving*. and throw some cheese sticks and ice cream in there, too. .
I was so proud of myself last week, I was doing so good, and actually enjoying every single thing I ate. why did I have to mess it up? why do I *always* mess up?
