Friday fun at @escapistcrossfit I always get a little excited when people tell me I get to go upside down 😄🙃 Apparently I can pike up... that's new! 👍I'll straighten it up before I leave Berlin next weekend. But for the first one I've done this year I think I'm happy 😊

I feel blank now a days, as if what to write, my brain feels so lost , one moment I am at one topic and in a second my brain is somewhere else.
I use to force myself to think, to write but I have stopped doing that as nothing fruitful comes out with that, my brain finds more thoughts an places to travel 😂

Woke up to my flatmate (shoutout to @concottonsocks ) and her boyfriend making me breakfast, now we are all going to sit around and chat and drink coffee like a big family. This is cute af. More of this please.
This is maybe my favourite thing about winter - it encourages spending time with good people and eating good food 👌
Going to go be productive now (hopefully)

-Surviving the Festive Season Part 2-
Ok, so I know it might be difficult sticking to your usual training routine over the festive season. You may be working extra hours, socialising a bit more than usual, trying to get Christmas sorted & doing ALL of the meal preps & its draining your SOUUULLL! 😱 The last thing you feel like doing is getting up an hour earlier in the mornings & training. Crazy talk! 🗣 I get it! There are some days where I would LOVE to just spend an extra hour or two lying in bed, googling useless facts & procrastinating. 🤓 Then I think about how amazing I always feel after training. You know, training releases endorphins & makes you feel fantastic. Some things that may help when you're feeling unmotivated are:

🏃🏼‍♀️Have an espresso ☕️ or delicious matcha 🍵 pre-training. 🤸🏼‍♀️Drag your bestie along with you. At least then it will be harder to back out. 🏋🏼‍♀️Get up an hour earlier (if you're a morning person) & get your training over & done with first thing. 🤸🏼‍♂️Book a fitness class that you can't back out of (e.g. Pilates reformer is great for this as it keeps you motivated even on the days when you're not 100% feeling it).
🤾🏼‍♀️Get your training gear & pre-training meal ready the night before so you can get up & get dressed rather than procrastinating in the morning.
🏄🏼‍♀️Change up your training. If you're sick of what you're doing & the idea is making you cringe, do something different. Go for a brisk walk along the beach, swim in the ocean or do some hill sprints.
