GoOd MoRnInG, SuNsHiNeS!🌞 (Somebody's feeling their coffee this morning 😂). Just wanted to say hi and give you all an update on how my cut is going!
I'm currently 11 weeks in and have lost a total of 16lbs which I'm happy with! 📉🎉🙌 However, I can definitely start to feel the momentum slowing down now. It's that point in any fat loss phase where each week becomes a battle to see the scale change.
Weight loss in general is pretty steady in the beginning weeks but tends to slow down as you get leaner. Does this mean you need to make drastic changes to your diet or exercise plan to keep progress going? NO, not necessarily! For many this is just the time for pushing through, staying consistent and NOT getting discouraged!! Just👏 keep👏 going!👏
When you reach this point you may also benefit from saying "screw the scale" if it's bringing down your mental game. Instead, look for other signs of change (i.e. how you look, how your clothes are fitting, waist/hip/thigh circumference measurements) and then keep going!! 😘

Social media can be used for good or bad. I personally think it should all be good but hey.... So things that are good
• Complimenting each other • Finding long lost friends
• Discover new ones
• Get yourself and message out there
• Seeing what your idols are up too
And so one...
Bad things...
•NEGATIVITY • Bullying
• Body shaming • People doing horrible things to either other humans or animals. .

I was so afraid to post this. I was afraid that people wouldn’t like the way I looked. Or people would just flat out call me names. BUT
HECK with that. Bring it on. I left my comfort bubble and I’m posting this. I’m proud of my body. I feel good about myself.
And SMH at y’all who want to judge.
Don’t be afraid. Post a scary selfie. Get out of your comfort zone. People will ALWAYS judge you or have something to say about you. There’s always those people. But there are people who want to lift you up. Who want to encourage you. Put those people in your life.

If training is going well and you know it, clap your hands... Stone medley on Saturday with the 205,225 and 245lb stones. Felt really good. Slipped a bit on the last one but nothing that a little tricky towel can’t fix.

If you aren’t taking progress pics throughout your fitness journey start now! Pictures tell your story better than anything else (the mirror, your friends impressions, what your family notices, etc). It is nearly impossible to see change if you aren’t documenting it! ••

Comfort zones are based off of how you expect to perform. They are an issue when you are playing better than expected. When you play within your comfort zone:
1. You are nervous, anxious, or scared when playing better than expected.
2. You lose confidence when playing better than expected.
3. You play defensively and are afraid to take risks because you want to protect your lead.
4. You focus on not making mistakes instead of making points.
To play beyond your comfort zone:
1. Stop thinking about the score - you will lose focus on the present. Instead, think of each play as the first play. This way you will play with the same intensity regardless of the score.
2. Leave your expectations at home. Instead, focus on execution.
3. Set positive goals to challenge yourself when you’re playing better than expected. This will keep you from playing defensively.
