Well I wanted to cap off a fucking awesome but grueling week with a Power Combo that would just knock my flavor senses to the floor. I grabbed a an All Out Kings - a Drew Estate and Caldwell collaboration - and a 2016 Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Upon release, this cigar received what I’d call a negative reputation - “released too soon.” Well, its been nearly a year since the release, and every time I smoke cigar I like it more. It’s got a super-earthy/coffee base balanced with sweet chocolate and cream that just drives my palate wild. It has super thick and rich smoke, always burns nice and slow, and well, it tastes like a really strong mocha latte with caramel.
So, this pairing is already bonkers at the one inch mark. The aged BCBS is super chocolatey, and the booziness has dropped big time, and it’s just super smooth.
You should try to make this pairing happen if you can.

The #CarrilloEP is a blast of citrus packed into a smooth drawing economical #cigar. A good go to for a 61 ring cigar with a nice relaxing beat. A bourbon cigar for sure! # cigars #cigar #cigarreview #stoggie #cigarlife #cigarlifestyle @ozking33 @timbawktoo @lover_of_the_leaf

Alec Bradley Tempus Natural Quadrum.

Habano seed wrapper with Nicaraguan and Honduran Cuban seed long fillers. The first third of this medium bodied and medium strength smoke was delicious and really complex with notes of marshmallow, pepper, coffee, cinnamon, sweet tobacco, baking spices, cream, and vanilla. After the first third it transitioned to a really nice balance of sweetness and spice and really mellowed out. Lots of transitions with this one and a really enjoyable smoke.-Cameron
