#maxedout at 17:38 which is 33 seconds longer than week 4 of month 1. This program for sure is an endurance builder!!

Even with being sick for 3 days I was still able to increase my time and made it through moves I previously wasn’t able to!!!!

I did not want to workout today. I wanted to keep sleeping cuz I don’t feel good. Body aches and sore throat yesterday and through the night 👎🏼

But I have to work today so I got up took some ibuprofen and Tylenol and downed my #goldengoodness and mustered my way downstairs
-
At 1:23 I really wanted to call it quits but I know myself and if I will be working all day I need to get my workout done. As crazy as it sounds my workouts usually give me energy through the day!
-
So I kept going cuz I always say you have to give the workout 5 full minutes before deciding to stop. And next thing I knew I #maxedout at 6:38.........4 whole seconds longer than last week which is a total win in my book considering I don’t feel great!

Can’t believe I only have one workout left of my 💗 program!!! 😍💪🏼😅

But I’m sooooooooooo EXCITED cuz that means I’m getting closer to the next program being released!!! -

Today it hit me.....my strength is back!!! 🙌🏼
-
I lost a lot of my upper body strength with my marathon training and no I can’t say I’m the strongest I’ve ever been but I’m heck of a lot stronger than I was 8 weeks ago!

Max Out Strength done and I #maxedout at 13:13......45 seconds longer than last week! 👊🏼
-
But besides making it longer I noticed today that I was able to modify less and hold moves longer. 🙌🏼
-
The last move of this workout is a low plank hold. 1 minute of this low plank with going between being on the knees to knees off the ground. I usually have to break just before 10 seconds left but today I held that low plank for just over 25 seconds!!!!! -
I was stoked!!!! I could literally feel how much stronger I was physically and mentally today!!!!

#maxedout at 11:13 a whoppin’ 7 seconds longer than last week 👊🏼 Those tuck jumps are just #tough -
So once I #maxout I still have to push myself cuz once I officially max it’s really easy to stop when it kind of gets challenging

So what do I do to keep pushing and maxing the rest of the workout?
-
With this workout there are 3 moves, 30 seconds each, repeated 3 times then a power move for a minute
-
So to keep challenging myself I try to do a round full out and a round modified then try to do the last round as well as I can.
-
Sometimes I succeed at this plan and other times I modify earlier than planned or rest when needed
-
But I know I’m still pushing!

Do you set little goals with yourself during your workouts?

If not I really encourage you to do this!!

I did not let yesterday defeat my today!!!! I could have easily said screw it and not push myself since I felt like I failed yesterday. But I’m not going to set my mindset that way!! ✌🏼

💯 frustrated today during my workout
-
Max Out Cardio and I didn’t beat my time from last week. The first time this whole program I haven’t improved. I had a goal to improve my time EVERY time.......😕
-
At first I felt like I failed.......but that lasted briefly cuz I told myself I just had to push harder the rest of the workout!
-
Ya I’m bummed I didn’t go longer!
-
Not sure what my deal was today but my endurance was struggling and I was having a really hard time catching my breath and I knew if I didn’t break I probably would have put myself into a mild panic attack of some sort so I had to stop!!!
-
So it’s done. I still got an awesome workout in but gosh darn I’m more motivated now to kick butt this week!

Sometimes I have to turn away from the TV so I don’t see the time....it’s all a mental game for me! -
And I also turn up the volume during those hard moves like #Ironlegs which I made it through again!

The stages I have been through over and over!!! And Max 30 is a prime program that makes me realize this!

Up extra early on my day off.....🤔 Yep has to get to an early 7am appointment (shocking a dentist sees patients that early!! We are #thankful though!) -
My daily #sweatsesh is a #nonnegotiable for me and I know myself well enough that if I don’t do it first thing it won’t get done or will be a #halfassed workout. And I’m not here to do things half-assed 🤷🏻‍♀️ So bright and early it was and of course not at all regretted! ✌🏼

#maxedout at 11:40....last week was 11:17. Was bummed at how close I was to finishing the move but oh well!

And of course some #ironlegs to finish it all off with cuz my legs weren’t lead already, they needed to be iron instead 😩

Gah!!! I only have 2 weeks left of #max30 It has flown by!!! -
Max Out Cardio done and I made it to 9:38. Last week was 8:36 and week before was 7:39. Pretty much about a minute per week #gains 👊🏼

I couldn’t help but think today during those pike up oblique knees that I could NOT do them when I first did this program. It was always a modified version. Right along with so many other moves but when you keep working on things the move doesn’t get easier....you just get better and stronger!!!

Keep plucking away. It may seem impossible at this moment but believe me when I say it’s possible!! 💗

Since I think I ate pretty dang well for my Thanksgiving meal last night I thought I’d take it easy today...........NOOOOOOOOOTTTT

This is a daily grind for me. I need a daily sweat. So 3.4 miles on #themachine (cuz I 💗 running ✌🏼) followed by Max 30 Pulse

Those dang plié squat pulses get me every time!

Oh and I needed the extra sweat today cuz well another day of potential not normal eating for me.....but I’m hoping to do my best again!

Couple interruptions during my sweat today but worth it to see their excitement!! -
Our silly elf Joe showed up today! He somehow knew we were putting our Christmas decorations up and he claims he couldn’t miss watching it! 😆😉🤪

Friday Fight Round 2 done and I #maxedout at 6:16 and made it through #ironlegs —— that’s a win in my book!!!

Followed this up with 3.4 miles on #themachine cuz well today I get to eat my Thanksgiving meal and I plan to have some treats for sure!!

Hit the floor tuck jump.....pretty much any form of a tuck jump will max me out!

BUT I’m super happy cuz I made it through a minute of speed in & out abs and 3 sets of switch kicks 🙌🏼

Today I decided to get my Max 30 workout done before I ran so I had fresh energy to see how far I could push my #maxout time today
-
Max Out Power which starts with legs the first round and man oh man I was 100% feeling the burn after each move! As in I could literally feel the muscles relaxing down a few seconds after completing each move! Which is exactly how these Tabata type workouts should feel!
-
Made it through all the leg stuff in round 1 then round 2 begins #armwork and all those #crazyass Insanity pushups and I #maxedout out at 11:17. -
And of course o kept pushing after that! The last round has quite a bit of burpees and I told myself I had to last the full 45 seconds of each burpee move annnnnnnndddd I did! 👊🏼

Followed this with Ab Attack since I decided to skip it yesterday. Seriously 10 minutes with ShaunT is killer! Maxed out at 3:53 which was over a 2 minute improvement from the last time I did it so I call that a #bigwin 🙌🏼

And then if this all wasn’t enough my running needs needed to be met so I hopped on the treadmill and was hoping to get 2 miles. Usually I loose my umpf if I run after a workout but today I was totally in the flow and before I knew it I had 3 miles done!!!
