“When Charity is deeply rooted in the soul it shows itself exteriorly: there is so gracious a way of refusing what we cannot give, that the refusal pleases as much as the gift.” - Story of A Soul, Chapter IX - St. Therese of Lisieux 🌹🌹 Refuse what we cannot give? What does this mean? This is how we truly show Charity (Love). Refuse what you cannot give. This is incredible because, if we are not able to give something back, we should not accept it as a gift. If you cannot give material goods such as money or food or electronics, then you ought to refuse them. This goes for everything. If you live with this mentality, you will own nothing because you would accept nothing given to you since people only give you things you do not have. But if you do not have it, you ought not to accept it because you cannot give it. Obviously if someone insists on giving you something be polite and accept it or if you need medicine, etc... but this mentality will detach you from the world. This also goes for love. If you cannot give love, you ought to refuse it from others because it will end up hurting them. If you are willing to give your love to others then you can accept it from them. This goes for the Cross as well. You ought to refuse the Cross if you cannot give your life back to God. He gave His life for you and if you are not willing to give your life and love back to Him, you ought to refuse Him. Why? If you accept the Cross and that Jesus died for you, but you live a sinful life and think you will be saved just for accepting it, you are lukewarm. There is no middle ground. You either accept the Cross and give your life and love to God, or you refuse it and turn from Him. Refuse what you cannot give and continue to practice this mentality. You will feel free and be willing to give yourself in every way to others while refusing material goods. ~ Catholica Romana

Tap to listen.
“Chant” Part 1 (the End) be continued for Part ll and Part lll
(A reading from Gary Edward Geraci - all but the last two words within an Instagram minute; whew!)
not only are we no safer now than then but neither is our population, old people are euthanized, life is butchered out of the young bodies of women,
barring the Biblical idol in Leviticus to whom the Canaanites sacrificed children, we now, yet so much more enlightened, nearly always worship just ourselves, bowing down to no one but our own selfish whims and desires,
killing our own children, directly or indirectly, those truly innocent souls, without any prayer to a god, without any sacrifice to a god, the Aztecs sacrificed their kids to the gods,
sick as is sounds we don't make any kind of sacrifice today when we kill our kids, instead, with hats fashioned in the form of female genitalia, we form flash mobs to proudly and flamboyantly promote our own choice to be free from a child over the child’s right to live a life, the worst affront of all indeed if a loving God, a Pater Omnipotens Aeterna Deus, should exist as the prophets foretold throughout all of the miserably sinful history of mankind, in that case may the most merciful God have mercy on our poor souls even if it means a thousand years in purgatory. [To read “Chant” its entirety please follow the link in my bio.]

Who am I? Perfectly imperfect, beloved child of God, wife, mama of 7, on the most beautiful journey of coming home to myself after a lifetime of playing by the rules. I now know I am meant to flourish- we all are, but we get so caught up in the lie of who the world tells us we should be. I’ve been using essential oils for forever and a day to treat my kiddos holistically. Once dōTERRA entered the playing field, my passion for teaching others landed on my heart. You see, I have a second chance at this beautiful, inspired life after a double acute pulmonary embolism challenged my recovery from a leg/knee/ankle/foot injury. My long road to healing has changed me. I see things differently. My heart is full of gratitude and purpose. I cannot help but share my joy and it’s my sincere hope that I can share it with you💗When I’m not working in my field of Psychology or sharing my dōTERRA love, you can find me right smack in the middle of big family living. Stolen moments spent in the chapel or reading, knitting, handspinning, crocheting and other artsy pursuits keep me balanced. Hoping to leave you filled with a bit of light and love each day. #peace #passion #purpose #light #love #joy #prayers #catholicmom #catholic #catholiclife #restore #behappy #bewhole #thenaturalhealingproject #natural #bigfamily #essentialoils #doterra #heartofservice

Late in December, there was a large mudslide in Tubod in the Philippines, as a result of the storm Vinta. So far, 40 people have died and 20 are still missing. We recently received word from our sisters in Mindanao that they are all well and have begun aiding those affected. Sister Jenjen shared this report and pictures with us. When the world gets overwhelming, I try to remember that where there is one Sister of Mercy, there we all are. .

As women, we can’t reclaim our time until we reclaim our voices and I don’t believe we can do that until we truly feel the pain of growing up in a world that told you “it’s better to be seen than heard” But it’s not enough to feel our own pain, We need to feel the pain of our ancestors who did not have a voice, and then we must feel the pain of all the voiceless, and those living at the margins. We must know that peace will never be obtained until the voices of voiceless have been heard and divine justice for both the living and the dead has been served. We must feel in order to heal. We cannot think our way out of knot, we untie it by deeply feeling each and every knot of our pain and as we unravel ourselves we unravel the suffering of our world #thedeepwell #heal #vocal #shruti #sing #sound #peace #women #voice #reclaim #voiceless #justice #radical #catholic #cosmic #christ #wisdom #divinefeminine #consciousness

A new pillow is available in my new Etsy Store.
Depicts a wonderful image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Prayer from a Sassoferrato's painting.
A very special gift idea for your home or your loved ones.

Pope Francis blessed this truck during a private visit to the Sanctuary of St. Alberto Hurtado, SJ, in Santiago, Chile on Jan. 16, 2018.

St. Alberto is the second Chilean saint to be canonized, and during the mid 20th century he was popularly known as Padre Hurtado. He also founded Hogar de Cristo, "Christ's Home," which has become one of the largest Catholic charities in Chile.

Known for driving his big, green truck through the slums to pick up and care for the poor, sick and forgotten, we should let his testimony encourage us to ask: Are we bringing people to Christ's home?
