/ / For my second cup I decided to check out the place I've heard the most about since I've arrived here in Madrid while listening to Podcast #2; The Liturgists episode on "Shame". @hansocafe treated me with what could be the best Cappuccino I've tasted in my entire life. The sweetness and texture of the milk was phenomenal and I loved the overall feel these guys have created in their shop. If you are like I was and have somehow not tried Hanso then you need to go ASAP! Can't say enough good things... / /
/ / Yesterday was a podcasts and coffee type of day. I started it all off with an episode of "Fun Therapy" and a shot of Spro from @labicicletacafe before moving on. The vibe of this place was different for sure. I think it's labelled as a common workplace but the drink selection (both coffee and alcohol) also makes it an ideal place to meet a friend. When I took my headphones off I was able to jam out to some music that was a bit unconventional for a coffee shop. I absolutely love to see places shaking up the norm and putting their own twists on our favorite drink. / /
/ / We had to visit @theurbanbits for a proper send off to our dear friend. Safe travels and thanks for grabbing donuts and coffee on more than one occasion! See you soon!

P.S: the cinnamon crunch and the berry jelly donuts are the best! / /

// I also got to visit @zeropointcoffee which was amazing! The level of expertise from this barista was next level. I was able to smell 14 coffees before deciding on one and then given a choice of which brew method. I ended up going with the Costa Rica on Kalita and it tasted just like rasberry I kid you not... If you want award winning beans made by a coffee genius than this place is a must. I always love the opportunity to geek out about coffee and mark my word, I will be back in January to try the new roasts! //

// @holacoffee was on point! First Americano I've had since moving to Madrid and it was lovely. Here's a poem I read from one of the many books on the shelves... "she was magical. beautiful eyes, flawless skin, with wonderful freckles down to her chin. her laugh warmed my heart, her giggle, her snort. no matter how long, time was always too short. the perfect woman for me in my life. the woman to keep and call her my wife. marriage began, it lasted a day. and then, what can i say. i ran away. she makes shit coffee." //
// When you have 3 hours to kill in a small town outside Madrid and you stumble into the nearest coffee shop you never know what to expect, but @lekkercoffee.cakes didn't disappoint. They have amazing prices and they even have mini donuts. Also worth noting; the cups aren't rounded... They are weirdly geometric. All in all, I love it! Thanks Lekker!!! //

// I also made a quick stop at for some beautiful latte art and lovely spanglish conversation with baristas! Super cool vibes in this place that fit the area of Madrid. You should for sure check it our after next week's #elrastro... //

// I loved the opportunity to swing by @rudacafe on my way through #elrastro yesterday. The espresso was off the charts and the shop was cool too! I'm always happy to support a shop that uses coffee proudly roasted in Madrid! Until next time Ruda!
// @coffeeandkicksmadrid is the coolest shop I've been to so far!!! To me coffee is about more than just a drink. It takes so many hands to bring a single cup of coffee into existence and it is the coffee experience that you are left with. The atmosphere at Coffee and Kicks was next level. (P.S. the shoes dangling from the ceiling were a nice touch!) //

// @lainfinito is an interesting find... we visited at night and loved the atmosphere... I got to experience my first 'cafe bombón and it was an experience for sure... too sweet, but so fun. The cafe overall was cool and I especially loved the lending library and the downstairs theatre. If you are near Antón Martin and need a quick energy boost, look no further //

// @lusocoffeeroasters here in @madrid is dishing out delicious spro and lovely conversations! The baristas behind the bar were so great and we even enjoyed a conversation with another customer who found a seat and settled down (if you are out there reading this, I loved the poem of the steed!) There is a certain friendly and bright atmosphere that is refreshing if you are on the move and don't mind a spot that is only to-go... or follow our lead and stand around whilst ordering 3 drinks. We'll totally be back to say hello! Keep up the good work! //

// Highly recommend for anyone looking to find a small quiet place! The cold brew, made with beans which they roast in house, was astounding and the atmosphere was great for having a drink and reading a couple chapters of your favourite book; just be warned that there is only seating for about 10 people in the entire shop. If you aren't looking for it you won't notice it, but if you manage to find it you won't be let down. You would be hard pressed to find a better spot for a cup to go as you walk along Gran Via, and for any hardcore tea lovers it is a must see. //
