👂 The world has music for those who listen.

I was a stop-and-smell-the roses kid. I would cry when I heard orchestral music, watch in awe as the ballerina in my jewelry box did pirouettes, and stare at the sky long enough for it to change colors. I was enraptured by beauty, and because of that, I lost my mom in stores a lot. I would stand in front of the items on display and try to understand why they were made and how human hands could have made something so extraordinary. Then, minutes later, in a panic, I would realize that I was alone. But if I got very, very quiet and listened very, very closely, I would hear it without fail: my mom softly singing or humming to herself a few aisles over. She was never far. I was never alone. She, too, saw and heard the beauty, but she let me experience it for myself.

[I know that this is a very common verse from The Bible, but it's definitely worth being reminded of again]
God's eyes are over all of us, and He hears our cry. (How comforting to know that)
When we are facing trouble or danger; we have a loving Heavenly Father watching over us, ready to come to our defense (aid).

My hands were sweaty and I didn’t even realize I was gripping the side of my chair tightly. My heart beating too fast for any normal conversation, and you might be asking why were you feeling this way? I was to speak in front of a group of people without any preparation. Anxiety and the analytical part of my brain could not handle the sheer thought of being so fearless. Until, Jesus whispered you got this. Those three words have stuck with me through any tense or uncomfortable situation. I got this! Not because of me but because of who he is. So today I want to encourage you to be fearless and remind yourself you got this, not because of anything we do, but because of who he is.

Sometimes this other half of me is all that matters. Holding on tight to each & every moment for the next two weeks. Letting go is hard, even when it’s temporary. Grateful for this love every single day.❤️ 🐨
I’ve been using the same bible since middle school, and even though I love it, I think it’s time for a clean slate. I am absolutely in love with the Paris themed Bible from @hosannarevival! Isn’t it gorgeous?! Bonus points to hubs for gifting me this pretty for my birthday last month.😘

This morning I woke up at 4am because the bottle of wine I drank last night didn’t let me sleep. Had a #vegan meal for breakfast and then cured my exhaustion with some @britneyspears . “Bombastic Love” 💣💘

“I was running in this race.
I was putting in my best efforts.
I was running towards the finish line.

I’d run well, I was proud of how far I had come, I had a big smile on my face as I kept my eyes toward that finish line.

Then along the way I looked to the left and right.
I looked there when I got tired.
I looked there when I got discouraged.
I looked there when I needed confirmation...
Yet each time I looked my smile disappeared.

I was looking for the crowd to be cheering my name.
At times I looked and they were cheering me on but then as I ran around the corner I couldn’t hear their encouragement anymore and it was hard to keep going .

Then at one point in the race I heard this voice.
It never left.
It kept cheering me on, it kept believing in me, it kept giving me advice and wisdom.

The race was life.
The cheerleader was God.
The people along the way were the ones God placed to encourage me on that season.

When I discovered His constant cheerleading of my life- that kept a smile on my face”

Everyone else has that phone.⠀⠀
Everyone else has a stable job.⠀⠀
Everyone else has their life figured out.⠀⠀
Everyone else seems to be happy.⠀⠀
I know you've said it.⠀⠀
Wanna know why? Because we always compare our insides to everyone else's outsides. ⠀⠀
And it doesn't make the slightest of sense, but we do it anyway because we forget that even the coolest of pictures and the cutest of stories have imperfections.⠀⠀
Note to self: stop fretting over what everyone else is doing. Live YOUR life.⠀⠀

God cares about you. He cares about EVERY single thing about you. No matter how big or small it may be He cares.
He cares for your happiness and joy. He cares about that on thing that is keeping you wide awake.
That one that thing that makes you cry yourself to sleep; He cares about it too.
He cares because He loves you -- so much that His only begotten Son died on the cross for you.

This is the verse I've been praying over my husband for years 🙏
