Would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a pig? #bingcrosby

- Danny Kaye photographed on set of 'White Christmas,' |1954.
_________________
White Christmas: Originally Danny's character, casted to Fred Astaire singing the holiday songs of Irving Berlin; Astaire announced that he had become too old to dance, and Donald O'Connor was sent in to be Astaire's replacement in the film. And yet again, Paramount had to re-cast, because Donald became ill. So finally, Danny was called in to join Bing Crosby, Vera Ellen, and Rosemary Clooney, grossing $12 million, making 'White Christmas,' the most popular movie of 1954.
